Walid Shoebat (Arabic: وليد شعيبات‎‎) is a Palestinian American, born in the West Bank to an American mother, who converted to Christianity from Islam.^[1][2] Shoebat has claimed that he used to be a Palestinian Liberation Organization terrorist in a CNN television interview.^[2] He is a self-proclaimed expert on the dangers of Islam^[2] and is also a strong supporter of the State of Israel.^[1] Shoebat has also claimed that he firebombed the Israeli bank Bank Leumi.^[2] However, after thoroughly investigating his claim, reporters and officials have found no evidence of any attack on the bank between 1977 and 1979, the period in which Shoebat claims to have carried out the attack.^[3]
Shoebat has been introduced as a terrorism expert on several television programs, including appearances on CNN and its sister network HLN in 2006 and 2007.^[2]

Nerds Rage Over Ahmed Mohamed's Clock

Electronics experts who examined photos of 14-year-old Ahmed Mohamed’s creation called it a fraud loudly enough to grab the attention of famed atheist and biologist Richard Dawkins, who on Sunday tweeted: “We were all fooled.”

Dawkins went as far as suggesting the ninth-grader had a “motive” for his arrest over the digital clock, which was inside a black pencil case and tied shut with a cable. “If this is true, what was his motive?” Dawkins wrote. “Whether or not he wanted the police to arrest him, they shouldn’t have done so.”

On September 14, police in Irving, Texas, handcuffed Mohamed, took him to a juvenile detention center and charged him with having a hoax bomb. His family says cops denied the teen’s repeated requests to speak to his parents. Two days later, amid a public furor, the charges were dropped.

Anthony DiPasquale, the webmaster for Artvoice.com, exposed the circuitry behind Mohamed’s clock. In an interview with The Daily Beast, he said, “My initial reaction was probably pretty similar to everyone else’s: ‘Wow, I feel really sorry for the kid’... The nerd in me wanted to know specifically what he did—what technology or methods he might’ve used.”

But the self-styled electronics geek says that Mohamed’s homemade gadget is actually a factory-produced clock. “Somewhere in all of this—there has indeed been a hoax,” he wrote in a controversial post on Artvoice. “Ahmed Mohamed didn’t invent his own alarm clock. He didn’t even build a clock.”

DiPasquale said all signs point to a mass-produced model. He traced the 1980s-era circuit board, which has a silk-screened “M” logo, to a vintage Micronta clock found on eBay. He noted other “dead giveaways” of a store-bought clock, including a switch to select 12- or 24-hour time and a battery backup.

“Anyone with even a basic hobby-level understanding could see it was a commercially available mass-produced product that was just taken out of its enclosure, and placed in a pencil box,” DiPasquale told The Daily Beast. “So I read some more about the story, and nowhere did I see anybody actually bring that point up.”

“Here we have a social media frenzy going on, with everybody to the president of the United States giving him a pat on the back, and I started thinking less about the clock, and more about us, as a society,” he added.

The public outcry over Mohamed’s arrest was also, presumably, less about the clock and more about what it says about us, as a society, that such a thing would happen.

DiPasquale questioned if other aspects of the teenager’s story about the clock aren’t being fully reported or fact-checked by reporters. In one interview, for example, Mohamed says he closed the pencil case with a cord so it wouldn’t look suspicious in school.

“I’m curious, why would ‘looking suspicious’ have even crossed his mind before this whole event unfolded, if he was truly showing off a hobby project, something so innocuous as an alarm clock. Why did he choose a pencil box, one that looks like a miniature briefcase no less, as an enclosure for a clock?” DiPasquale wrote.

Thomas Talbot, an electronics author and prominent medical virtual reality scientist, said the clock’s printed circuit boards and ribbon cables, along with the 9-volt battery backup, are signs of a commercial product.

In his video, Talbot displays a photo of Mohamed’s clock and on screen, flashes an arrow over a tangle of cords jutting from the case. “This was put in here to look like a device, with these cables and these… to look like a device that would be suspicious, and I think intentionally so,” he says of the design.

“This is simply taking a clock out of its case, and I think probably for provocative reasons, intentionally,” he said in his video. He did not elaborate further.

“When I saw this, I thought, ‘We’re getting duped here,’” Talbot told The Daily Beast, adding, “Anybody who knows electronics really well needs less than five seconds to know that was a clock taken out of the box.”

Any idiot knows that one of the oldest and easiest ways of constructing a home made bomb is to take a clock apart in anticipation of wiring it to an explosive device. This is what Ahmed did. The whole event was a socially engineered event intended to numb US reaction to terrorism.

Ali' David Sonboly, 18, murdered nine people - most of them children - after going on the rampage at the Olympia shopping centre in the southern German city.

He considered himself Aryan despite his Iranian heritage and held racist views including a hatred for Turks and Arabs.

Iran is considered to be the home of the Aryan race and Sonboly was said to be proud of his Iranian ancestry despite his dislike for neighbouring countries in the Middle East.



Fresh revelations about the right-wing killer also suggest he was proud to have shared his birthday - April 20 - with Adolf Hitler.

Reports in German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine appeared to confirm the killer's right-wing links and investigators are focusing on his extreme political views as speculation grows that he was specifically targeting foreigners during the shooting.

Four of those killed were of Turkish origin and two others were Kosovan Albanian.

Materials found at the gunman's home also showed he had been hospitalised for three months to treat a mental health condition and was an avid player of violent video games.

One of the games, 'Counter Strike: Source', was a game "played by nearly every known rampage killer", according to the president of Bavaria's crime office, Robert Heimberger.

Detectives believe the gunman was also inspired by Norwegian mass killer Anders Breivik, and likely staged the shooting on the fifth anniversary of Breivik's massacre of 77 people.

During Sonboly's rampage on July 22 he also made reference to the fact that he had been bullied.

Officials said authorities had investigated allegations in 2012 that the gunman was bullied by three other children, but none of those individuals - or any other classmates of the gunman - were among the shooting victims.

Bavarian state investigators said materials found in his home showed the gunman had begun plotting the attack a year ago after visiting the site of a 2009 school shooting in southwest Germany in which 15 people were killed.

Sonboly is thought to have attempted to lure victims to a McDonald's opposite the mall with a fake Facebook profile promising free food.

Among the dead were two 14-year-old Kosovan girls, Armela Segashi and Sabina Sulaj, and their Turkish friends Can Leyla, 14 and Selcuk Kilic, 15.

In total, six of the victims were aged between 14 and 17, two were young adults aged 19 to 20 years and a 45-year-old Turkish woman was also killed.

The connections between Islam and Nazism are well documented in history and, in fact, contradict the suggestion that identifying with Nazism is contrary to Islam. It is not. In fact just as the whole idea of Aryan ethnicity is fiction cooked up by the Nazis, so also is Palestinian ethnicity a Muslim fabrication cooked up by Amin al Husseini, the old Mufti of Jerusalem who was an ally and confidant of Adolph Hitler. There is no such thing as a "Palestinian", these are all Muslims who claim Israel as a fraud of history and a blood libel against the Jewish state.

During WWII, Amin al Husseini recruited Muslim Bosnians into the SS to wage war on Serbs in the Balkans and evoked Islam as a motive to serve with the Nazis. Many among the Nazis who were true believers of the quack racial theories of the Nazi party protested that the Bosnians, descended from the Turks, were in fact "semites" like the Jews and unfit to serve in the Reich military according to the Nazi racial laws.

But the Nazis needed the Bosnians and Muslim anti-semitism was more powerfully unifying to the Nazis then any racial differences. Anti-semitism was the real motivation and driving force behind the racial laws and so the Bosnians got a pass from the SS. It was decided they were Aryan. I guess this is where this little rat got the idea that he was an "Aryan". But what he missed is that according to the Nazis, Turks and Syrians were also "Aryan". Many Nazis fled to Syria after their defeat in WWII.

If these reports are credible, then for terrorist motivation, he was a poor Nazi, but a good Muslim.
