So much for Hope and Change– Chicago southside African-Americans GO OFF on President Obama.

Rebel Pundit interviewed the community this week about Barack Obama’s open border policies and his spending on the illegal immigrant community. Let’s just say – they are NOT HAPPY.

One local resident even says, “Barack Obama will go down as the worst president ever elected.”

The Chicago resident below says:

“With the president setting aside all these funds for immigrants and forsaken African-American community and African-American families, I think that’s a disgrace. And Barack is from the heart of 55th in the City of Chicago… He will probably go down as the worst president ever elected. Bill Clinton was the African-American president.“

And this Chicago woman goes off on Barack Obama.

“Mr. President, we’re asking for you. You’re spending billions of dollars in Texas but we got a problem here in Chicago. We will not stand by this here and keep letting this senseless killing and shooting happening in our community.”

So far this July 120 people have been shot and at least 26 killed in Chicago.

And the month is not even halfway through.

Perhaps people are finally figuring out that they have been played. Obama is for Obama and his masters, not the people, any of them. JMO

I had an extra laugh at "Bill Clinton was the African-American President". Clinton signed Welfare Reform that put responsibility on states and started a Work for Welfare program to set limits and push welfare recipients into work. One of Obama's first things was to eliminate that completely as part of his economy stimulus.

July 12th – Rollcall.com headline from last week: “GOP Says Border Crisis is Obama’s Fault; Democrats Blame Violence, Poverty” The violence is indeed horrific, 82 shot, 16 dead just over the past weekend. And a concerned mother laments: “I’m living a nightmare, my whole neighborhood is so violent, there’s so much crime” adding, “Where can I get asylum? Where can I get refugee status?” Only thing is the 82 shot and 16 dead were in Chicago. And the mother seeking refugee status? Her name is Elaine, a black woman who lives in Baltimore. The last time Chicago had a Republican mayor was in 1931 and currently has not a single Repub on the City Council. And the last GOP city councilman in Baltimore was elected in 1939! Then there’s Detroit, Cleveland, DC, Newark and the list goes on. Gang violence, poverty, poor schools & corruption, not in Central America, but every day in our inner cities. Dems haven’t cared for decades, but why? Silly me … unlike the border crossers Dems know they already have those votes.

Remember the viral video from the 2008 presidential election, showing a sycophantic Obama supporter, caught up in the “hope and change” mantra, believing that his election win would put an end to her having to pay her own gas and mortgage bills?

Well, she’s had what you might call a “fundamental transformation.” Meet Peggy Joseph.

“I won’t have to worry about putting gas in my car. I won’t have to worry about paying my mortgage,” a worshipful Ms. Joseph said after attending a 2008 Obama rally at the height of his messianic euphoria stage.

Joel Gilbert caught up with Peggy Joseph for the filming of his new full-length documentary film, “There’s No Place Like Utopia,” six years after Joseph thought that Barack Obama would pay for her gas and her mortgage.

Ms. Joseph told Gilbert, after viewing the 2008 segment together that gave her notoriety, that not only has Obama not been paying her gas or mortgage, but both have gotten progressively harder to pay.

“During that time, we needed a change, but change for the better, not for the worse,” an awakened Peggy Joseph told Gilbert.

“He had a very big voice, just like the Wizard of Oz,” Joseph said, comparing Obama to the famous phony wizard. “The wizard was this little teeny-teeny tiny man, and I think it’s the same thing with Obama, the man behind the curtain,” Ms. Joseph said in a reflective, disappointing tone.

Ms. Joseph looks back at the time of her 2008 interview, saying, “I was Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. That’s how I feel.”

“What I learned is never trust the Wizard,” Joseph now says. “It’s within ourselves to have the determination, the courage, and the brains, to bring us to our destiny.”

Gilbert told WND that he was shocked to find Peggy Joseph “was a suburban soccer mom with four children, who earned her living as a hard-working nurse, the daughter of Haitian immigrants,” and had “no history of ever accepting any form of government assistance or taxpayer-funded handouts.”

Peggy Joseph, the woman who infamously proclaimed that under Obama she would not have to worry about putting gas in her car or paying her mortgage, is interviewed in this short video.

She has a different perspective on things now. She says we needed change, but change for the better, not worse.

She equates Obama with the Wizard of Oz. She says he had a big voice, but behind the curtain was this “little teenie, teenie, tiny man.”



She says Obama was “not who we thought or expected him to be.”
She’s speaking for herself. He’s exactly as many of us expected him to be.

When your own voter base turns on you and lambastes you as “the worst President ever elected,”, it probably means you’ve made a significant miscalculation in the political landscape.
Is this, as Eric Holder recently called it, the manifestation of African Americans’ “racial animus” ?



Barack Obama is, after all, half white, so these people protesting in the middle of Chicago must be doing so for racial reasons.

“Mr. President, we’re asking for you,” one woman said. “You’re spending billions of dollars in Texas, but we’ve a problem here in Chicago. We will not stand by this here, and keep letting this senseless killing and shooting happen in our community.”
Another resident said, “Today, if you look at the time that we were brought here as slaves 400 years ago, we got the same results today.”
One man called for Mr. Obama to step down if he continued to shun the city’s problems.
“For the president to set aside all of these funds for immigrants and [have] forsaken the African-American community, I think that’s a disgrace,” the man told the blog Rebel Pundit. “He will go down as the worst president ever elected. Bill Clinton was the African-American president.”

This is the video you won’t find on most ‘progressive’ web sites because it will blow the race-card narrative out of the water. As it turn out, it’s not just a bunch of white people out there criticizing President Barack Obama.
It should be clear that some issues transcend political lines and this is one of them:



Is criticizing Barack Obama really an issue of racial animus?
Or, is it possible that all Americans, regardless of race, are fed up with policies that continue to destroy our way of life?
Millions of jobs have been lost, yet the flood gates on the southern border have been opened, driving hundreds of thousands of more people into a job market that has been hammered for nearly a decade.
Moreover, as residents of Detroit are unable to pay their water bills, rather than focusing taxpayer dollars to help poverty-stricken Americans, the democrat-leaning US Congress wants to dedicate $3.7 billion to immigration reform that will do absolutely nothing to actually secure the border.
In Chicago, where the landscape is starting to mirror that of the drug cartel controlled city streets of Mexico, residents are fed up with a total lack of law enforcement. And what does the administration do? They let known gang members from criminal organization like MS-13 come freely into the United States. That should do wonders for the national murder and violent crime rates in coming months and years.
The policies of this administration and the stand-down orders given to Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents along our southern border beg the question: What the hell is really going on here?
