All the stability we need to man the US nukes, right? He always reminds me Chief Inspector Charles Dreyfus of the Pink Panther movies with Peter Sellers... for those of you old enough to remember, the dude with the twitching insane eyes, that ends up in the looney bin?
    That's hilarious, Dianne...

McCain reminds me of Captain Queeg in the Caine Mutiny...the foul-tempered, megalomaniac Naval captain who kept rolling the marbles between his fingers while talking about strawberries. I think he ended up in an insane asylum.
    No,
Actually he ended up as executive officer at a navy depot in Iowa
    I think

The book is much better than the Movie and your right , McCain is a dead ringer for the real Queeg , The strawberry business in the movie is mild compared to some of the stuff he pulls in the book

I guess we can all say one thing positive about him though - he'll pay us $50/hr to pick lettuce right?

They all sat in little chairs. McClown looked like a hunchbacked troll.
Yes, a hunchbacked troll or ogre, or maybe an old bird like a vulture. There was a show a while back that featured birds and dinosaurs made from puppets. Jim Henson? 'Dinosaurs' was the name, I think?

Anyway, there were these old puppet vultures or old buzzards that had a striking resemblance to old McCrane.

Oh, and when the camera angle showed McCain and Romney side by side, McBuzzard looked about 35 years older than Romney.
[b] If we do not insist on Voter ID, how can we stop illegals from voting?

We should take out a BIG ad in the Phoenix newspaper that says:

    TAKE BACK YOUR SENATOR!

WE DON'T WANT HIM TO BE OUR PRESIDENT!!

McCain always reminds me of Nikita Khrushchev, especially when he smiles that communist smile of his. Wish I could find a picture of a smiling Nikita, it would blow you away!

Khrushchev was the First Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. He was in office from September 7, 1953 – October 14, 1964.

I remember when Nikita came to America, had a temper tantrum, and pounded one of his shoes on the podium, and talked about how they were going to bury us! Geez! Maybe he was right! We have got to keep fighting!

Here is a photo of Nikita. Try to imagine McCain's smile on his face, and then imagine McCain having a tissy fit.

The GOP is dead...and is going to get it's lunch handed to them (the socialists will control the Legislative and Executive (and more than likely get beyond the philibuster limit!!!!)

McCain is another Dukakis/Dole (and a smug a-hole at that).

CNN "debate" is a JOKE....how long will citizens get spoonfed these "shams" of "debate" (that are contrived as HELL). They definetly don't want the actual conservative to answer the question of being liberal or conservative!!!!

    CNN is a joke.

This country while once great and the birthplace of Liberty is the equivalent of a toilet that needs to be flushed really badly...who can honestly stand the stench??

I posted my impression of McCain's performance last night in another thread, but it seems better suited here:

I'm tired of McCain backers downplaying, even mischaracterizing, this irascible punk's personality flaws. "Maverick" in the Senate would become dangerous liability in the White House.

If we had a little more time before Super Tuesday, I think we could persuade more voters of his unsuitability for office. That said, if he wins the nomination, the Democrats will make hamburger out of him come summer.
