so, is this only for poor latino and black students?
What about poor white, chinese, philipino, japanese or whatever students?
So in effect, this is sponsored racism?
Curious that the hispanic caucus would support this, and i find it laughable that they would include "black americans" as to throw a bone to them.
Do they say illegals are NOT able to benefit from this or is ANY latino, illegal or otherwise?

Hello,
I just read about the "GRADUATION PROMISE ACT", and on face it seems okay. But I would like further clarification if I may.
Could I get the following questions answered please.
1. Will this ACT only benefit Latino and Black students?
2. Will this ACT also fund any of La Raza's (ncla) charter schools?
3. Will this ACT benefit illegal immigrants?
I am curious because based on the press release, there is no mention of needy white, chinese, japanese, philipino, or any other groupings of students other than latino and black. Also, there was no mention of whether the ACT would benefit illegal immigrant students.
If I could get clarification, that would be great and I look forward to hearing from you.
Thank You,
We must push through early Thurs at this critical moment
