    'New World Order' for Conservatives?

    'New World Order' for Conservatives?

Last week, I focused on Sen. Obama's speech about his "former" pastor. I thought the speech was both fascinating and scary in how it revealed so much of what the senator actually believes. Who would have thought that in such a short time, there would be another speech that seems equally revealing and that has conservatives grumbling. Though not given all the advance billing of a "major address" like Sen. Obama's speech, the comments delivered by Sen. John McCain on Wednesday have conservatives such as myself up in arms. To Sen. McCain.... when you give a speech like that -- a speech John Kerry could have given -- are you purposely thumbing your nose at conservatives?

In a speech before the World Affairs Council in Los Angeles, California, Sen. McCain delivered a laundry list of all things non-conservative. Speaking of new world orders, North American Unions, and global permission to protect American interests is so far from our basic Republican platform that I don't even need to use the word conservative, it's not even Republican. Let's take a look at what the senator from Arizona -- the REPUBLICAN NOMINEE -- had to say.

On Rush Limbaugh's program, the conservative talk show host correctly honed in on one of the items that particularly went up my spine. Rush takes issues with the following McCain statement:

MCCAIN: Our great power does not mean we can do whatever we want, whenever we want, nor should we assume we have all the wisdom and knowledge necessary to succeed. We need to listen, we need to listen to the views and respect the collective will of our Democratic allies. When we believe international action is necessary, whether military, economic, or diplomatic, we will try to persuade our friends that we are right. But we in return must be willing to be persuaded by them.

What McCain is saying is that American interests are now up for veto by the collective "world body" and we must always get permission before action is taken. Clearly we don't want our "democratic allies" to be mad at us. This is just another step in diminishing America's role as leader of the free world. As Rush states, "Liberals are going to love this speech. This is the problem. This is their stated approach. This is no different than what John Kerry was talking about doing, although his remarks were in the context of military involvement, but McCain included that here."

Rush addressed a few other areas of McCain's speech, but one part that particularly bothered me was this passage:

Relations with our southern neighbors must be governed by mutual respect, not by an imperial impulse or by anti-American demagoguery. The promise of North, Central, and South American life is too great for that. I believe the Americas can and must be the model for a new 21st century relationship between North and South. Ours can be the first completely democratic hemisphere, where trade is free across all borders, where the rule of law and the power of free markets advance the security and prosperity of all.

Again, this sounds like something straight from the liberal manifesto. I'm sorry, I'm just not buying it. When Lee Greenwood belts out those stirring words that make our hearts beat a little stronger, he doesn't sing, "I'm proud to be a North American." When I get up in the morning, I don't pray to God and thank him for the fact that our neighbors are Canada and Mexico. I don't long for the day when people will say, "Hey you are one of those Western Hemisphere folks, aren't you? Cool...." I'm proud to be an American! A citizen of the United States of America. I do not want alliances that take away American sovereignty or diminish our capacity to do what is in the best interest of America. Any presidential candidate who talks otherwise is sending up a huge red flag to conservatives across the country.

McCain goes on to call for the closing of the Guantanamo Bay detention facility. That is simply crazy. Would we no longer house enemy combatants? Of course we would. We'd simply have another Gitmo under a different name. So, there is no reason to close what we already have. Suggesting so is simply catering to liberals both at home and abroad that America is somehow the bad guy who needs to clean up his act. Forget it!!!

The comments poured in yesterday, and it might be wise for the senator's presidential campaign to make a note that trying to fundraise among conservatives on the same day you give a "new world order" speech is not really a great idea.

I was going to send a contribution, but after today's speech I have changed my mind. I just won't vote in the next election. I feel this country is going to hell in a handbasket. I can't believe we will close Gitmo!
    -- Liz O.

After the speech McCain gave today 3/26, about closing Gitmo and torture, and the global B.S. he will never get my vote, even if he RAN UNOPPOSED.
    -- Bob L.

I honestly am not to the point that I can say for certain I will even vote for you, Senator McCain, let alone send a donation. I heard some of your speech today and really object to much of it.
    -- Nancy M.

I am proud of America... a country that was forged in the fires of liberty, freedom, and leadership. When America faces adversity, we face that adversity head on, and we lead. We don't ask, "Excuse, kind European neighbor, are we really facing adversity, because, um, er, if not, we'll just go back across the Atlantic. Just wanted to check with you because maybe you thought that perhaps we might just sort of be right and that America should act. Of course we won't take any action that might make you upset."

America is strong, and we will continue to be so, as long as we have leaders who will promote and defend America and not sell us out to the "global village."

There's no such thing as a 'New World Order' for conservatives - that is if they are really conservatives. A love of country, and a determination to keep it free and sovereign, is foundational to real conservatism.

McCain, Clinton and Obama would welcome a furtherance of the Globalist agenda, because they are dyed-in-the-wool Globalistas, and fawning sycophants of world government.

    Arrrggg,

When I was at work today (on the road) I was flipping the channels.
First station, NPR, they had some guy talking about the United States and the World. Yep, globalism. I immediately turned the channel. Channel 2 Clark Howard. Talking about doing business in a global economy....switch! Channel 3, Neal Bortz, talking about doing business in a global economy. Finally. I turned the radio off!

Everyone is so enamered with Global this and world that, it just makes me sick!

NPR- its a constant CFR commercial anymore.

Clark Howard- I used to like listening to him but he's sold out, anything to save a buck!

Neal Bortz- Who listens to this arrogant bone head idiot. Ever notice how he complains about the illegals and says illegal immigration is ruining the country? Then, 2 minuets later he says this is the best economy ever and everything is so rosey. Then he says if your not prosperous and making tons of money, its your fualt. If this guy didn't haven't a radio show he would be out of a job because there is nothing else he can do but run his pie hole. By the way, Neal Bortz having a radio show proves that the FCC shouldn't let TV, Radio and newspapers consolidate, because when you get sick of hearing this guy spew his ignorance, there is nothing else to listen to but either clark Howard or NPR. Basically, no choice at all!

Then you have many other Major Media Figures like Lou Dobbs, Glen Beck and others that think the last 8 years has just been some big fiasco put on by idiots that don't know anything. HEY GLEN!, HEY LOU!, If this was some dopey idiot that couldn't add, spell or read, they couldn't do this bad. ITS A P-L-A-N DUDE! Anybody, even a 16 year old could tell you this is a setup! Everything going to hell one after another like domino's and we hear people called idiots? NO, THE IDIOTS ARE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE for standing by with remote in hand instead of going to DC and kicking Asbestos! I just get tired of hearing all of them, even the big people that are supposed to be on our side. We need people that incite the people into taking action and to do this, you gotta tell the truth about Globalism, Illegal Immigration, The CFR, The NWO, The NAU and then after you've told the TRUTH, TELL about the politicians involved in these organizations and what they're goals are. And then we need to hear someone have the guts to call the politicians Traitors and Treasonous. Then some of might us need to hear what those terms mean and why. Then some might need to hear The PENALTIES of such actions and why they are what they are.

Then low and behold these so called Major Media Personalities talk all this stuff about the Politicians and then they have their special "Best Political Panel" on to discuss everything corrupt going on in the country and all the bickering of the candidates. Now, what sorta P's you off is ..... the people on the panels, are CFR members! Ever notice when the CFR members talk about something they point it to some dumbed down conversation and pure gossip when the real conversation should be about, the CFR wants to control the whole world! Is the CFR the Minder in the room? Minding all the Media Personalities so they don't speak out against the CFR? Rush has his own show but Clear Channels owners are CFR members. CNN is owned and probably 50% of the top 10 management are CFR members. We all know Ted Turner is. We know Rupert Murdock, Bill Gates and The worlds richest man Warren Buffet are members. Time after time the owners and heads of the big media companies are CFR members, in fact most corporations worth 10 Billion dollars probably have members of the CFR among the top brass. And since these people often converse amongnst eachother why wouldn't they be rich and be getting even richer, they know the plan before us or even wall street. They lay the plans together. So, there is no wonder big time Media personalities never call any CFR members out, or even as a group and if they do it will not be in depth and it surely won't finger any real evidence that might lead to anykind of prosecutory action, oh, thats right, I forgot, they own the legal system, thats why traitors and crooks can walk around in daylight whith a big grin on their face while saying they have new ideas that help all the world while cheating every working man, woman and child out of their futures.

Are the American people too dumbed down on globalism already?
We hear everyone on every media repeat it time and time again, like they need to have this seired into our brains that unless the United States is all for globalism we are doomed or something. When a caller calls in and responds negetively towards globalism you often hear the media personality say "Well, we can't go back now!" "This is how the whole world does business now!" . Its all BS, 1/2 of the world can't even make breakfast in the morning or afford to buy it. All the major powers want us to think this is great on one hand and if you don't like that perception then on the otherhand, its all doom and gloom if we don't go global. ITS ALL LIES! The only ones making out on this are the business owners, the sweat shop owners, the international corporations and a very, very few hard working people that are basically paid slave wages. Yep, this is good for the world alright! Bunch of sorry good for nothings is all they are.
Unless we get those criminals & make them pay for what they have done to our country and the lawlessness they have sponsored, we are just another Mexico ourselves!

Having had the opportunity to have listened to the Rick Roberts talk radio show out of San Diego this past week, he mentioned a book published in 1958 called "The Naked Communist" by W. Cleon Skousen. In the book there is a list of communist's goals. Rick was talking about 'free trade' and then listed some of the goals of the communist at the time of the books writting almost 50 yrs ago.

#4 on the list. Permit free trade between all nations reguardless of Communist affiliation and reguardless of wether or not items could be used for war.

#7 Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of China to the UN.

#11 Promote the UN as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one world government with its own armed forces.

#13 Do away with all loyalty oaths.

#15 Capature one or both political parties in the United States.

The list is long, and haunting as most objectives have come to pass. Perhaps it would not be a good thing to pinch one's self.

An excerpt from the book that was written almost 50 yrs ago:

    Importance of The Psychological War

The biggest mistake of the west has been allowing itself to drift into a state of mental stagnation, apathy and inaction. In some circles, motivations of patriotism, loyalty and the traditional dream of "freedom for all men" have been lying dormant or have been paralyzed by a new kind of strange thinking. Authorities say there is an urgent need for a revolutionary change in our state of mind.

What is wrong with our "state of mind?"

First and formost, we have been thinking the way the Communists want us to think. Our founding fathers would be alarmed to learn how confused many of our people have become over such fundamental problems as coexistence, disarmament, free trade, the United Nations, recognition of Red China, and a host of related items. Instead of maintaining a state of intellectual vigilance, we have taken Communist slogans as the major premises for too many of our conclusions. Let us go down a list of current strategy goals which the Communists and their fellow travelers are seeking to achieve. These are all part of the campaign to soften America for the final takeover. It should be kept in mind that many loyal Americans are working for these same objectives because they are not aware that these objectives are designed to destroy us.

That was from the book. Rick Roberts said that this book is online. It is a very intersesting book considering its age. I can only hope that it is out dated and wrong in its premise.

Good post, Roundabout. The late W. Cleon Skousen was a clear thinking patriot, and a long time FBI man, who who had it nailed, IMO.

I don't think "The Naked Communist" is outdated, or wrong in it's premise, unfortunately. See "Free Trade and the Global Economy" at: www.penncrier.com/penncrier/pcftge.html

Thanks POTUS, and a heartier "Thanks" goes out to you for your posts and references.

A WWII veteran and latter a history teacher was always pushing for a more inquiring mind. Now I find myself asking, "Does a dog chase it's tail, or does the tail run from the dog?"

    Thanks POTUS!

Yep, Those articles back up what I said.

The most amazing part of this whole ordeal is "WE" don't need and shouldn't need articles or websites to know our country is in danger and that there is a plan to undermine us. WE FEEL IT IN OUR BEINGS! Thank goodness there are still some clear thinking Americans around to know this ain't the way its supposed to be, but are there enough of us around?

There will come a day when the brainwashing wears off, when the masses are really hurting financially then we might see an uprising. While people are still living somewhat cushy lives they don't know or care about whats being done to them on a DAILY basis.

Right now most Americans are being hurt big time financially and don't even know it. Their retirements are dwindling, being stolen or lost and they don't even reckognise it. While the FEDS put in Billions to prop it up, the underlying foundation is going futher under, all with peoples money. Most of the rich guys are making money betting against the markets, not hoping they will do better. The rich guys have pulled their billions out and invested in other countries and other currencies. Then when the bottom does fall out, they buy up even more riches for pennies on the dollar.

As we saw Henry Paulson come out and basically say, everything is going to be scrutinized to death by the Federal Reserve (which is a traitorus action in itself) and what this means is we now have the first step of nationalizing certian sectors of our economy, as if we aren't already a facsist country, with a twist of socialism and communism.
Unless we get those criminals & make them pay for what they have done to our country and the lawlessness they have sponsored, we are just another Mexico ourselves!

Has the Libertarian Channel started yet? I'd like to watch the real news not the MSM psyhological brain washing with the so called fair and balanced who use two types of socialist arguing about who's better at "control"!
"As has happened before in our history, if you have open borders poor country governments will pay people to move here, promising them a better life in the New World"*
