No Border Wall group calls on DHS to start draft EIS all over again

    By Steve Taylor
    Scott Nicol

EDINBURG, December 31 - In a 23-page letter, the No Border Wall group has produced a damning repudiation of the federal government’s plan to build border fencing in the Rio Grande Valley.

The letter, sent to outside consultancy firm e2M, could turn out to be the most comprehensive critique of the plan submitted under the draft Environmental Impact Statement. The public comment period for the draft EIS ends at midnight tonight.

The letter was sent on behalf of the No Border Wall group by Weslaco resident Scott Nicol.

In its letter, the No Border Wall group says recent statements and actions by DHS “do not provide us with confidenceâ€

Allot has to do with Bush Not listening to the people, no mater what party they support.
I feel some what confident he will almost wake up enough in 08, to hold his own feet to the fire or we will shove him so far into the coals. He won’t have a choice to do any thing else, but build the darn thing the way it’s supposed to be.

Just build the fence. It will not hender legal businesses in any way and will provide a safer invironment on both sides of the border. The mexican people are afraid stopping drug dealers and coyotes will be bad for businesses in Mexico when in reality it will improve legal business on both sides of the border.

We strenuously object to self-serving minority groups controlling the U.S. government. WE WANT THE BORDER SECURED NOW! It's time to stop the invasion of ILLEGAL ALIENS who are destroying this country, slowly but surely.

ILLEGAL ALIENS are a huge burden to taxpayers. They are ruining education of our children, closing hospitals, turning towns and large parts of cities into filthy barrios. They are bringing disease to our citizens. They are killing over 9,000 citizens and LEGAL IMMIGRANTS, EVERY YEAR. They rape, rob, and destroy lives.

    BUILD THE DAMN WALL!!!!!!!!!!!
