The Mexican Revolution (Spanish: Revolución mexicana) or Mexican Civil War (Spanish: Guerra civil mexicana) was a major armed struggle that started in 1910, with an uprising led by Francisco I. Madero against longtime autocrat Porfirio Díaz, and lasted for the better part of a decade until around 1920.[5] Over time the revolution changed from a revolt against the established order to a multi-sided civil war with frequently shifting power struggles. This armed conflict is often categorized as the most important sociopolitical event in Mexico and one of the greatest upheavals of the 20th century,[6] which saw important experimentation and reformation in social organization.[7]
After prolonged struggles, its representatives produced the Mexican Constitution of 1917 during Venustiano Carranza's term.[5] The revolution is generally considered to have lasted until 1920, although the country continued to have sporadic, but comparatively minor, outbreaks of warfare well into the 1920s. The Cristero War of 1926 to 1929 was the most significant relapse into bloodshed.
The revolution led to the creation of the Partido Nacional Revolucionario ("National Revolutionary Party") in 1929; it was renamed the Partido Revolucionario Institucional (Institutional Revolutionary Party) (PRI) in 1946. Under a variety of leaders, the PRI monopolized power until the general election of 2000.

    Coup d'état

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

For other uses, see Coup d'état (disambiguation).
"Coup" and "Putsch" redirect here. For other uses, see Coup (disambiguation).
A coup d'état (/ˌkdˈtɑː/ ( listen (help·info)); French: blow of state; plural: coups d'état), also known as a coup, a putsch, or an overthrow, is the sudden and illegal seizure of a government,[1][2][3] usually instigated by a small group of the existing state establishment to depose the established government and replace it with a new ruling body. A coup d'état is considered successful when the usurpers establish their dominance. When the coup either fails or doesn't entirely succeed, a civil war is a possible consequence.
A coup d'état typically uses the extant government's power to assume political control of the country. In Coup d'État: A Practical Handbook[page needed], military historian Edward Luttwak states that "[a] coup consists of the infiltration of a small, but critical, segment of the state apparatus, which is then used to displace the government from its control of the remainder." The armed forces, whether military or paramilitary, can be a defining factor of a coup d'état.

Obama to issue immigration order on Mexico’s ‘Revolution Day’

President Obama’s speech on temporary amnesty is planned for 8 p.m. Thursday. (Associated Press) more >

By Dave Boyer - The Washington Times - Thursday, November 20, 2014

No doubt it’s just a quirk of the calendar, but President Obama is making his announcement to grant legal status for millions of illegal immigrants onMexico’s “Revolution Day.”

The president’s prime-time address Thursday coincides with the date in 1910 when the Mexican revolution began. The timing hasn’t escaped the notice of the Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, a group that opposes the president’s plan.

“November 20 is Mexican ‘Revolution Day‘ or Mexican ‘Civil War Day,’ which is the equivalent of America’s 4th of July,” said William Gheen, president of ALIPAC. “Obama’s choice of this date for his departure from his oath of office and the U.S. Constitution creates a permanent symbolic relationship between his actions and Mexico’s violent revolutionary and civil wars from 1910-1920.”
Mr. Gheen said the president “is making a powerful and dangerous symbolic declaration to large Spanish media audiences today comparing his new immigration orders to the violent Mexican revolution and civil war.”

The group also raised concerns that major networks won’t be airing the 8 p.m. speech, and said many Americans will be kept in the dark about the president’s executive order.

EERIE Coincidence About The Date Obama Is Set To Announce Amnesty Plans

in News, Politics / by Robert Rich / on November 20, 2014 at 3:38 pm /

For those unaware, Obama is set to announce his plans for amnesty tonight, but there may be more to this story. As its been recently unearthed, today is also the National Revolution Day in Mexico.
Coincidence? We can’t help but wonder.

    According to the Gateway Pundit:
The Mexican Revolution, began on November 20, 1910, and continued for a decade. The United States, Mexico’s northern neighbor, was significantly affected by the human dislocation that resulted: if someone did not want to fight, the only alternative was to leave the country—and over 890,000 Mexicans did just that by legally emigrating during the second decade of the 20th century.
As Obama is expected to announce the passing of his own make-shift amnesty Executive Order, not too many Americans are pleased about it. It is explicitly illegal for Obama to grant amnesty without going through Congress – in fact, it resembles the power system of a tyranny rather than a Constitutional Republic.
That being said, Democrats are defending the actions of Obama as it reflects poorly on the party as a whole – something which Obama seems to worry very little about. In effort to do so, Democrats are saying that when Reagan passed the Simpson-Mazzoli Act back in 1986, it was the same thing as what Obama is attempting to do.

However, the only thing similar about the two is that they were granting amnesty to some. Reagan, however, did things the appropriate and legal way, which is going through all the correct channels before his signature was ever on the document – you know, like going through Congress.
Too bad for idiot Liberals, their lies only get them so far. Rush Limbaugh was quick to point out the seriously false basis of the accusations.

What makes Obama’s actions even more brazen is the fact that the GOP has clearly stated that if he goes ahead with this, then it will open the doors for impeachment. In essence, Obama moving forward with this is not only a slap in the face of the GOP, but America as a whole.
Adding to this odd coincidence is the fact that major networks reportedly will not be airing the speech, but Univision, the Latin-American Spanish-only channel, will be. The more that comes to light about tonight’s speech, the more inappropriate the actions of our president seem to be.
Having heard all this, what do you think – is this a coincidence? What do you think is the appropriate response for Obama should he go through with his blatantly illegal and unconstitutional intent?

Coincidence? Obama to Announce Executive Amnesty on National Revolution Day in Mexico

Posted by Jim Hoft on Thursday, November 20, 2014, 8:48 AM

Obama will announce his Executive Amnesty Plan tonight.

Today is National Revolution Day in Mexico

The Mexican Revolution, began on November 20, 1910, and continued for a decade. The United States, Mexico’s northern neighbor, was significantly affected by the human dislocation that resulted: if someone did not want to fight, the only alternative was to leave the country—and over 890,000 Mexicans did just that by legally emigrating during the second decade of the 20th century.
The Obama administration and minions in the media insist President Reagan also used executive amnesty to allow illegals in the country.
As Rush Limbaugh explained, “This is a bald-faced flat-out lie.”

    Ronald Reagan
signed a piece of legislation. It was the Simpson-Mazzoli Act. It was 1986. Congress debated and passed a law to grant amnesty to three million illegal immigrants, and Reagan signed it. — Obama is passing amnesty without Congressional legislation.
