OBAMA’S IMMIGRATION ORDERS DESIGNED TO BEAT GOP NOT HELP ILLEGALS

    May 28, 2015
    by John Gibson

Barack Obama never intended to help the millions of illegals in the country when he issued his controversial executive action on immigration. His legally questional orders were always designed to give Democrats a lock on the Hispanic vote, not help millions of illegals yearning for legal status in this country.

In other words, it was a cynical, cunning, and calculated political ploy first and last designed to put Republicans behind the eight ball with the Hispanic voting bloc. Obama said he wanted to help the millions who needed work permits and drivers licenses and to lift the shadow of deportation, but it was never at all.

Obama’s immigration orders were always a scam aimed at scooping up Hispanic votes. And it appears he’s getting away with the swindle.

    Here’s what we now know.

Obama knew states most impacted by his sweeping DACA order and the follow-on executive actions would sue. He also knew a federal judge somewhere (Texas! Bingo!) would lodge an injunction to keep the order from being carried out while the litigation was ongoing. He also knew the appellate court that would hear an appeal on the injunction would be the 5th Circuit in New Orleans, one of the most conservative in the nation. He knew the 5th Circuit would decline to issue a stay on the injunction.

And that is precisely what happened in the last few days.

The New York Times today reported, as if it were news to anybody at the New York Times, that the roadblocks thrown up by the courts would mean Obama’s immigration orders would be put on hold until the litigation brought by twenty six states, with Texas in the lead, played out in the courtroom. That time frame (eighteen more months) would bring the culmination of the case to the moment Obama leaves office. Which means his immigration executive orders will have no effect on the illegal immigration crisis. The clock will have run out.

But the trial clock also puts the litigation right in the middle of the next major election season. And that was the point all along.

The goal was to put Republicans in trouble with Hispanic voters, and voila!, there it is. Bloomberg reporting today that immigration activists blame Republicans for blocking the orders, not Obama for crafting an order that anybody could see would be blocked as soon as it got near a courtroom and a judge.

Election day repercussions promised by immigration activists is exactly what the Obama Administration was angling for, and at least at this point, Obama is getting what he wanted.

He could have worked with Republicans to pass an immigration reform law. He only had to be sincere about closing the border. But he was never interested in a solution.

Obama wanted to cement the Hispanic vote for Democrats. He pretended to care about illegals. But he didn’t. He wanted only political points and he cynically used the hopes and dreams of millions of Hispanics to score those points.

Some of these “immigration activists” were doubtless in on the plot.

Much better to slime Republicans than actually help a Mexican illegal. After all, those illegals have been getting along without a solution for a long time. They can just wait longer while Democrats bamboozle them out of their votes.

It is a possibility if assumptions necessary are fact. It would have been necessary for the aliens to be stupid of the Constitution and American law. It would be necessary that none of activists would be advised by attorneys. I'm not saying he did not take that chance, but it would be slim that those assumptions would be factual.

What he could assume is how republicans would react. That assumption is factual.

Bamacrats were already assured of a large majority of the Latino vote.

Latinos believe that Repubs only care about the wealthy. Nothing really startling about that.

Many of those Latino's would have simply not voted feeling betrayed and ignored. Now they will be riled as here are the Dems trying to *save* them and the *evil* Reps hate them and want them and their families gone. If not for Obama's EO's for illegal aliens and supporters in 2016 would have just sat at home hiding and Reps would likely have had a sound victory except of course it would have likely been a RINO who would just do business as usual and not enforce the laws much either.
