HHS Nixes Housing Illegals In Anniston FEMA Facility

Just one day after Alabama Congressman Mike Rogers opposed the Department of Health and Human Services’ plan to bus illegal immigrants 900 miles to a FEMA training facility in Anniston, AL, HHS has backed down. In an email to Rogers, HHS said “the site is no longer under consideration…”
That begs the question: Where are those illegal immigrants being transported to now? And at what cost to taxpayers? More importantly, why are they being transported farther from the border and scattered throughout the country with seemingly little expectation of being returned to their home-country?
For 2012, the Obama budget called for an all-time high for border security. He wanted an additional $242 million for high-tech watch towers and screeners, $229 million for border agent raises, $184 million to deport illegal criminals. The increases were in addition to the $14 billion already allotted. 2012, border security and an election year.
Fast forward two years. More than 52,000 unaccompanied minors have simply walked across the border. For $14.6 billion a year from US taxpayers, one would think this administration could stop a small city of children in sneakers.

If these 'brown shirts' are civilians, under what authority do they have to arrest anyone?

And how would such an 'arrest' hold up in a court of law?
