The multiple aliases of the illegal alien murderer of two Northern California Sheriff’s Deputies have been sorted out and the name they are going with for the time being is Luis Bracamonte. Neil Cavuto and Sheriff Joe Arpaio discuss just how this illegal alien criminal managed to be in the United States after being ordered deported twice. They also note the high frequency of re-arrests of illegal aliens that the Sheriff has previously turned over to ICE for deportation at 36% percent, a point that Sheriff Arpaio has been attempting to drive to the forefront of discussions for quite some time.
A hearing tomorrow is scheduled to determine whether this criminal is tried in the United States or deported to Mexico for trial, an absurdity in itself that is worthy of discussion at another time.
Cavuto notes how if our borders were secure and if our immigration laws were enforced, this type of thing would never happen, adding, “But it does, again and again.”
Arpaio says that this criminal illegal alien had been in and out of the jails that he runs in Maricopa County, AZ, dating back to 1996, on a variety of drug and weapons charges. He says that Bracamonte was deported twice by ICE and let out on the streets of Maricopa County a couple of other times.
Cavuto asks who lets them out. When the Sheriff says they have dangerous criminal, who makes that decision to release them?
Arpaio says that his department turns them over to ICE; they are the ones with last known custody. He notes how over the last year he has been tracking four thousand illegal aliens that have been in custody in his jails. With a 36% re-arrest rate, we either have an extremely weak enforcement policy and insecure border or ICE is simply letting them go onto the streets.
Arpaio announces that he will be asking for a Congressional Investigation, that this has to stop. It’s nothing more than a form of amnesty for criminal illegal aliens by the Obama regime.
Cavuto asks if those considered to be dangerous are handled differently. Arpaio really can’t say what happens once they are turned over to ICE. He says clearly most of them should have been deported but if they are then why do they keep coming back to his jails if they should be in a foreign country, deported?
Arpaio knows that this individual was turned over to ICE on at least two occasions and released by them on another, adding “and that’s just what we know of.” He wants to know where’s this guy been, why is he back in the country and what motivated the murderous attacks on innocent Sheriff’s Deputies.
Arpaio says, “Something has to be done with this problem, I’ve said it over and over again.”
