There is nothing more fun on a Sunday morning (for this AZ citizen, anyway) than going to the Day Life page that is devoted to Joe Arpaio; there isn’t a more controversial figure in The Grand Canyon State than the Maricopa County Mountie, and he is capable of inspiring fits of hyperbolic blather, especially on the left.

The National Association of Sheriffs and Police Commissioners need to rally collectively (yes sometimes it's not a dirty word), be progressive (yes sometimes it's not a dirty word either) and advance the mission of enforcing US immigration law by enforcing our laws themselves using local municipal and county resources. Instead of wasting time, personnel, money and equipment on chasing Americans smoking pot in their basements, they need to use these resources to chase illegal aliens out of the United States ... all of them.

If the feds won't authorize more 287 (g) funds for the training, then screw the training. Did the feds train you on how to use SWAT TEAMS to invade homes of American Citizens, bust down their doors, kill their dogs, tied them up in their underwear and sit them down in the blood of their pets for hours while they searched their home looking for evidence of some crime being committed? Did the Feds train you on how to bust Americans smoking pot in their basements? No, I don't think so! Therefore, train yourselves. How hard can it be to arrest illegal aliens? How hard can it be to schedule and conduct a hearing and notify the Feds to execute the Deportation Order? How hard can it be to detain them until the Feds show up to deport them and if they don't show up, cart their butts to the border and tell them not to ever come back? Then secure our borders and make sure they don't.

This isn't rocket science. This is just good ole down home law enforcement that Sheriffs and Police Commissioners already know how to do because they've been doing it to Americans for almost 200 years.

You can do this. The Law and Constitution of our country have already provided you with the authority to do this.

The law is at your sides and the American People have got your backs.

Just do it.

Exactly. It's time we tell them in clear precise terms that they are our law enforcement paid and appointed or elected as the case may be, to secure our communities, to secure our counties and yes, even our states. The State Highway Patrol Associations need to be included as well. From conversations I've had with many of their officers, they WANT to enforce our immigration laws, but are prevented from doing so being misdirected by District Attorneys, Mayors, County Commissioners, Governors and State Legislatures. But I think this is changing. I think the electorate is sending clear messages at all levels of government that we want a full throttle all levels no holes barred enforcement campaign to stop illegal immigration and deport illegal aliens. And that starts with County Sheriffs elected to secure our counties who answer to no one but the people of the county that elected them. They aren't subject to Mayors or Governors Sanctuary Whims like Police Chiefs and the State Patrols.

So, lets go Sheriffs, lets go Police Chiefs, lets go State Patrols ... because you've got the law at your sides and the American People have got your backs ... so you're protected by the laws and will of the people of the United States. Thus, don't worry about losing your jobs if you're actually doing them, because the Mayors and Governors and DA's impeding you will lose their jobs before we let them take yours.

Be bold! Forge ahead! Just do it and get r done. You want to see a Big Citizens Rally? Just try and fire a police chief enforcing US immigration law. You'll see a Rally alright. You'll see the Rally of our life-times.
