OK law under attack, call this state legislator

The OBL is continuing their attack on the Oklahoma anti-illegal alien law.

One pandering lawmaker (Rep. David Braddock, D-Altus) has filed legislation to repeal a state law that targets illegal aliens, but the chairman of a legislative committee said Friday its chances of being considered are slim.

Rep. Rex Duncan, R-Sand Springs, the chairman of the House Judiciary and Public Safety Committee, said he doubts he will give the bill a hearing.

But Braddock is asking businesses to change Duncan's mind.

Please call or e-mail Rep. Rex Duncan and tell him NOT to give Braddock's bill a hearing. We want House Bill 1804, passed by the Oklahoma Legislature last year, to stay in full effect.

    Rep. Rex Duncan contact info:

    e-mail: rexduncan@ okhouse.gov

    phone: 405- 557-7344

    Done via e-mail, see below:

    Dear Rep. Duncan:

Please do not give Rep. David Braddock's bill a hearing as it is obviously a direct attack on the rule of law. H.B. 1804 is legal, correct, needed and right. Many other states are modeling their statutes after Oklahoma's lead in enforcement.

If states don't enforce ALL laws, state and federal, then we have a country of anarchy and despair.

Just one more thing...if a company can't conduct business legally, then it has no business being in business.

    Thank you for your consideration,

    This is not new.
The OK. bill was attacked before and just after it took effect(11/07) here in OK. So far, every claim against the bill has been thrown out of court.

They still need our support. Now it's being attacked from within (the house of Reps.) Please take a small amount of time to call and e-mail, mkfarnam.

Texas Citizens Take on OK H.B. 1804

I hope you don't mind, I sent OK Rep Duncan the following email from a Texas Citizen:

    Dear Rep. Duncan:

I live in Texas and I am hopeful "our" elected officials will enact a bill based on Oklahoma's H.B. 1804 and that you not dilute Oklahoma's law for the benefit of some elitist politicians and their elitist contributors.

The politicians and their Elitist Contributors are providing “benefitsâ€

Good work, lccat. Anything that another member posts that can be utilized by another is fine to incorporate into action.
