The Hilarious Life of Alicia Machado, Hillary's Tragic Latina Victim of Trump's Sexism
    STEVE SAILER
    SEPTEMBER 27, 2016

Last night, Hillary Clinton chose to wrap up her debate with the sad story of Alicia Machado, a Latina immigrant victimized by Donald Trump, who had previously been too little known in the English-speaking world:

HOLT: Very quickly, because we’re at the final question now.

CLINTON: You know, he tried to switch from looks to stamina. But this is a man who has called women pigs, slobs and dogs, and someone who has said pregnancy is an inconvenience to employers, who has said…

    TRUMP: I never said that.

CLINTON: …. women don’t deserve equal pay unless they do as good a job as men.

    TRUMP: I didn’t say that.

CLINTON: And one of the worst things he said was about a woman in a beauty contest. He loves beauty contests, supporting them and hanging around them. And he called this woman “Miss Piggy.” Then he called her “Miss Housekeeping,” because she was Latina. Donald, she has a name.

TRUMP: Where did you find this? Where did you find this?

CLINTON: Her name is Alicia Machado.

TRUMP: Where did you find this?

CLINTON: And she has become a U.S. citizen, and you can bet…

    TRUMP: Oh, really?

CLINTON: … she’s going to vote this November.

TRUMP: OK, good. Let me just tell you…

    (APPLAUSE)

Thank God this poor woman was just given the right to vote in our election in time to wreak her vengeance upon Donald Trump.

Trump victim: Alicia Machado | The Briefing

Today, this New York Times article totally buys into Hillary’s positioning of Ms. Machado as a sad victim of sexism:
Shamed and Angry: Alicia Machado, a Miss Universe Mocked by Donald Trump

By MICHAEL BARBARO and MEGAN TWOHEY SEPT. 27, 2016

For 20 years, Alicia Machado has lived with the agony of what Donald J. Trump did to her after she won the Miss Universe title: shame her, over and over, for gaining weight.

Private scolding was apparently insufficient. Mr. Trump, who was an executive producer of the pageant, insisted on accompanying Ms. Machado, then a teenager, to a gym, where dozens of reporters and cameramen watched as she exercised.

Mr. Trump, in his trademark suit and tie, posed for photographs beside her as she burned calories in front of members of the news media. “This is somebody who likes to eat,” Mr. Trump said from inside the gym.
On Monday night, Hillary Clinton turned Ms. Machado’s pain into a potent political weapon on the biggest stage.

In the process, Ms. Clinton, the first female presidential nominee of a major party, elevated a largely forgotten tale of Mr. Trump, when his oversight of beauty pageants collided with his unforgiving fixation with female beauty.

And Mrs. Clinton put a spotlight on Ms. Machado, Miss Universe 1996, who says she has never recovered from the experience.

But it turns out that Ms. Machado somehow recovered enough to live an interesting life over the last 20 years, although NYT didn’t see fit to mention any of the following today. From the Associated Press’s archive:

    VENEZUELAN BEAUTY QUEEN ACCUSED
    AP , Associated Press
    Jan. 23, 1998 6:39 PM ET

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) _ The Venezuelan beauty queen who made headlines two years ago for putting on weight after being crowned Miss Universe is back in the news.

A lawyer for a man who was shot outside a church in November said Friday that Alicia Machado, 21, was seen driving the car in which her boyfriend sped away from the scene of the shooting. Francisco Sbert Mousko suffered brain damage when two bullets punctured his skull outside a church where his dead wife was being eulogized.

Sbert’s family said the alleged gunman, Sbert’s brother-in-law Juan Rodriguez Reggeti, had accused Sbert of driving his sister to commit suicide.

“Our accusations against Alicia Machado are based on coinciding testimony from witnesses, who place her in the vehicle in which Juan Rodriguez fled the scene,” said Omar Arenas Candelo, one of three attorneys who presented the allegations to a criminal court late Thursday.

A couple of weeks later, the AP also reported:
    EX-MS. UNIVERSE ACCUSED OF THREAT
    STEVEN GUTKIN, Associated Press
    Feb. 5, 1998 4:36 PM ET

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) _ A Venezuela judge said Thursday a former Miss Universe threatened to kill him after he indicted her boyfriend for attempted murder.

Venezuelan beauty queen Alicia Machado threatened “to ruin my career as a judge and … kill me,” Judge Maximiliano Fuenmayor said on national television.

The 21-year-old Machado, who created an international stir in 1996 when she gained 35 pounds after being crowned Miss Universe, allegedly called the judge after he issued an arrest warrant Wednesday for Juan Rafael Rodriguez Regetti.

Rodriguez, 26, is accused of shooting and wounding his brother-in-law, Francisco Antonio Sbert Mousko, outside a church in Caracas last November where Sbert’s wife _ Rodriguez’s sister _ was being eulogizing.
Rodriguez apparently blamed Sbert for driving her to commit suicide.

The victim’s family accused Machado of driving the getaway car, but Fuenmayor has not indicted her, citing insufficient evidence. The judge said there were no witnesses to place Machado at the scene _ or to back up her claim she was home sick at the time.

Fuenmayor said he planned to open a new case against Machado for Wednesday’s threatening phone call.

In the past two decades, Venezuela has had four Miss Universes, four Miss Worlds and two Miss Internationals _ the world’s top beauty title record.

But Machado was not convicted on any of the charges.

Machado later became engaged to major league baseball player Bobby Abreu of Venezuela. From Deadspin:
    Bobby Abreu’s Otherworldly Restraint
    Leitch
    6/13/05 11:42 am

We had heard nothing about this Bobby Abreu story from last month. Maybe it’s because we don’t watch Spanish language TV. But still.

Here’s the details, if you’re as in the dark as we were. The Phillies outfielder — enjoying the greatest season of his career, by the way; right around the time this story broke, he hit homers in six consecutive games — was engaged to former Miss Universe Alicia Machado.

In May, she appeared on a Mexican reality television show called “La Granga (The Farm)” and … had sex with a fellow cast member on camera. Needless to say, Abreu was not a fan of this — as Jason Mulgrew points out, Latin men tend not to handle such matters well — called off the engagement and subsequently went on his homer barrage. We still think this might have been cooked up by Phillies general manager Ed Wade and manager Charlie Manuel, like in Fast Times at Ridgemont High, when they smashed Louis’ car right before the football game. But we still can’t believe we hadn’t heard about this, mostly.
    From the website PlayersWives.com
Machado went on to moderate success as a soap opera star, and appeared nude for the Mexican edition of Playboy in 2006.

    “Tienes una pinga divina.”

Abreu and Machado were engaged in 2005, when Machado went on a reality TV show. The concept of being filmed for a nationwide (and with the glory that is the internet, worldwide) reality TV show apparently escaped Machado as she had sex with a housemate,… of course, all caught on camera. The photos and video appeared online, and Abreu called off the engagement shortly thereafter.
Abreu dumping Alicia Machado was announced in the Philadelphia Daily News on May 2, 2005. Freed from her, the Phillies outfielder suddenly went on one of the hottest streaks of his career. From Wikipedia:

    2005 Season:

In May, Abreu was honored as the Player of the Month in the National League, after he hit .396 and 11 home runs. He also led the NL for the month in slugging average (.792), on-base percentage (.535), and walks (30) and was tied for the league lead with 30 RBI. He became the first player in Major League history to hit at least one home run in nine out of ten team games.
In Mexico a few years later, Machado insisted that her new baby was the child of businessman Rafael Hernandez Linares rather than of narco cartel druglord José Gerardo Álvarez Vázquez, a.k.a., El Indio, as Mexico’s Attorney General claimed. From a Google Translate version of a 2010 article in El Economista:
“El Indio” was daughter Alicia Machado

PGR protected witnesses say the former Miss Universe had a daughter with Jose Gerardo Alvarez, arrested today and attended the christening Hector and Arturo Beltran Leyva and Edgar Valdes Villarreal, “La Barbie”.
    THE ECONOMIST ONLINE APR 22, 2010 |

    El Indio

Jose Gerardo Alvarez Vazquez, “El Indio”, presented today by the Federal Police and detained by federal jointly with the Army, had an affair with former Miss Universe Alicia Machado and fathered a daughter.

Protected witnesses in preliminary investigation PGR / SIEDO / UEIDCS / 359/2008 indicate that the model also had a daughter in 2008 and girl christening was attended by Arturo Beltran Leyva, the “boss of bosses”, his brother Hector Beltran and Edgar Valdes Villarreal, “La Barbie,” who today fight the ownership of the cartel Beltran.

According to the report, Edgar Bayardo del Villar, protected witness who was executed on December 1 last in a cafe in the Colonia del Valle was the first to testify about the romantic relationship between the two characters.

    Good job, Hillary …

Hillary’s just not into that Extreme Vetting, because that would be racist.

Alicia Machado is a good example of the ongoing envibrantisimoization of American life. But most American institutions don’t really pay much attention to Latin American pop culture.

For example, today wasn’t the first time the New York Times had written about Alicia Machado. In a long article denouncing Trump in May, the NYT credulously used Machado as their anchorwoman to wrap up their indictement:
Crossing the Line: How Donald Trump Behaved With Women in Private

Interviews reveal unwelcome advances, a shrewd reliance on ambition, and unsettling workplace conduct over decades.

By MICHAEL BARBARO and MEGAN TWOHEY MAY 14, 2016

But when Mr. Trump lost confidence in women, he could inflict lasting damage on their lives.

After Alicia Machado won the 1996 Miss Universe title, something very human happened: She gained weight.

Mr. Trump did not keep his critique of her changing body quiet — he publicly shamed her, she said.

Mr. Trump said he had pushed her to lose weight. “To that, I will plead guilty,” he said, expressing no regret for his tactics.

But the humiliation, Ms. Machado said, was unbearable. “After that episode, I was sick, anorexia and bulimia for five years,” she said. “Over the past 20 years, I’ve gone to a lot of psychologists to combat this.”

Deborah Acosta and Nicholas Casey contributed reporting, and Kitty Bennett contributed research.

Alicia Machado became a U.S. citizen this year, just in time to vote for Hillary.

After all, that’s the American Dream: importing vast numbers of foreign ringers to elect you President.

“One of the requirements for naturalization is good moral character (GMC)” – Vol 12 Part D – CH – 9.

How much of her lurid life did she disclose to the U.S. government? Theoretically, applicants for citizenship must have “good moral character,” but we all know that “vetting” is racist.

More on Alicia Machado from the Daily Mail.

Seriously, Alicia Machado is what used to be known as an adventuress. There are some fun things about adventuresses, but being lectured by them on morality is not one of them.

As this whole story comes together, it could actually be the end of Hillary Clinton. I mean running with an overweight porn star from Venezuela who mothered a child with a Mexican drug lord?!!

This is what educated Republican "suburban women" prefer their "Little daughters and sons" to be exposed to through Hillary Clinton instead of Trump's beautiful suits, plane, skyscrapers, hotels, winery and golf courses??!! REALLY?!

Ladies, Bill and Hillary Clinton are both white trash. They are an embarrassment to Arkansas, New York, DC, and every other place they've pranced around.

And the Bushes are voting for Hillary. What will that do to their little prim and proper reputations?! What does that say about them and their "judgment"??!!

This story needs to go VIRAL.

Hillary is going to regret giving out this woman's name during the Debate for the rest of her life.

And KUDOS to "Donald" for getting it out of her on live television. Talk about "bait, fish". He got the prize!!

Machado is probably one of those 800 to 1000 people DHS was supposed to deport but got citizenship instead.

This is why you feed a story. Lets feed it big league!

Paul Ryan defends Trump, dodges on Machado comment

By Tom LoBianco, Deirdre Walsh and Manu Raju, CNN

Updated 1:12 PM ET, Tue September 27, 2016

Washington (CNN)House Speaker Paul Ryan dodged Tuesday when asked about Donald Trump's criticism of a former Miss Universe, trying instead to put the focus on Hillary Clinton following the first presidential debate.

Trump on Fox News Tuesday defended making critical remarks about former Miss Universe Alicia Machado's weight gain back in the 1990s. The Republican nominee said she had "gained a massive amount of weight and it was a real problem."

Ryan, who has been critical of Trump's comments in the past, did not bite on this one, however.

"I'm not going to get into the who said what this morning on a talk show because I didn't see it," Ryan said.

"I think this debate, I think people, met their expectations, and I think Hillary gave a very polished, well-rehearsed status quo defense and I think Donald Trump gave a unique Donald Trump response to the status quo," Ryan added.

But gleeful Democrats, clearly happy with Monday night's outcome, latched on to Trump's Machado comments.

"He's just repulsive. I mean, he really has no filter, he has no comprehension. He engages in rhetoric that is insulting to women. He doubled down this morning," said Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the former Democratic National Committee chairwoman. "Someone needs to remind him that it's the 21st century and we've evolved long past it's what women's looks and women's substance that matters. And we're about to elect the first woman president, so we'll show it to him that way."

House Republicans, whose own fortunes could depend on how well Trump does on Election Day, gave him mixed reviews.

Rep. Mark Sanford of South Carolina said there was a "sophomoric element" to Trump's repeated interruptions of Clinton onstage. Rep. Charlie Dent, one of a handful of remaining moderate Republicans, was critical of Trump's bragging about not paying taxes.

But Rep. Tom Cole, a close ally of Ryan's, said Trump merely needed to clear the bar for looking presidential.

"I think actually Trump had a pretty good night," Cole said. "Neither one of them landed a knockout punch, but I think he needed to pass the bar to be presidential. And I think he did."

LOL!!! When Trump said yesterday morning "She was the worst we ever had" referring to Machado and the Miss Universe Pageant, he was right!! I wonder if he knows her life AFTER the pageant? I bet they do because the pageant officials are involved in all the countries, Venezuela especially, who has had more winners of Miss Universe than any country except the United States. So you know her "acting" in porn movies, posing for Playboy, and having a child with a Mexican Drug Lord, are the talk of the country, especially among and about the contestants and winners of the pageant.

Oh and another big laugh, according to Wiki, Machado was hired by Univision in the US in 2014 to "mentor" beauty pageant contestants. Is that not hilarious??!!

    Machado Mentoring:

    1. get fat
    2. be a whore
    3. breed out of wedlock with Mexican cartel drug lords
    4. interfere with US Presidential Elections with lies for fame, money and US citizenship

OH YEAH, HILLARY, you've found you a "victim" alright!! When this breaks on MSM, you won't be so "smug" now, will you??!!

And it will break. Real soon.

Other than Laura Bush, I haven't heard any other Bush publicly say they supported Hillary Clinton. Not supporting Trump doesn't necessarily mean you're voting for Clinton. I am curious though .... perhaps I missed something. Could you please provide a link to where you received the information that Bush's other than Laura have said they support Hillary Clinton?

The women who work for our CORRUPT MEDIA are true puppets of the corrupt enterprises and globalists behind their networks. For example, they are turning Trump's attempt to help Miss Piggy lose weight during her reign as Miss Universe so she could keep her title as contributing to her claims of bulimia and anorexia.

Miss Piggy is not bulimic and she is not anorexic. That woman does not have that problem. People who have that problem do not gain 60 pounds in 6-7 months from over-eating. Identifying her appetite and love of food as bulimia and anorexia is the biggest MEDIA LIE out there yet. People with bulimia and anorexia either eat and throw up or don't eat at all. This woman has never suffered from that disease. She eats like a pig, then has to diet to get rid of the pounds to pursue her goals of winning Miss Universe and after that becoming a porn star.

It's a disgrace really to confuse someone who is just a big eater but has to lose to keep a beauty pageant or porn star weight, careers she chose for herself, with people who actually suffer from these diseases, which are actually 2 different diseases. They're mental disorders in both cases and require professional help to solve if they can be.

Shame Shame Shame on these stupid women in the MEDIA. You are horrible!!!

That is just hearsay unless you can provide a direct quote or something more substantial. I think you're probably referring to the comment made by a third party, it didn't come directly from George H W Bush. I heard the same thing but dismissed it because Bush, when asked, wouldn't say who he was voting for or if he was even voting.

You're free to dismiss whatever you want, but I'm convinced that GHW, GW and Jeb are voting for Clinton. They support her free trade treason policy, they are Mr. NAFTA, CAFTA and FTAA, they are amnesty for illegal aliens, they're war hawks, so they're Hillary Clones. George P, Jeb's son, supports Trump and said so months ago, but I think the rest of them are supporting Hillary based on her policies they support.

Absolutely none of this means they support Hillary Clinton and will vote for her. Furthermore, Jeb Bush has said he would not vote for Hillary or Trump. I've seen that in print as a direct quote from him. Moreover, neither George H.W. Bush nor George W. Bush have weighed in on the general election publicly. My point is, you shouldn't attempt to pass something off as fact unless there is evidence to substantiate the claim. Even though none of this really matters much in the big scheme of things, honesty does matter.

You have shown over and over again that you side with the liberal agenda on pretty much all social issues (I'm sure you won't attempt to deny that as fact). Does that mean you would consider voting for Hillary Clinton? No it doesn't. As for me, I support many liberal positions on the environment, but that certainly doesn't mean I would ever consider voting for Hillary Clinton!
