Exactly the response my wife and I got from Felicia Cravens and company last year. In fact. the Houston TEA Party highly criticized members of local US Border Watch when they showed up to protest Nancy Pelosi last year. For what ever reason the TEA party felt they should be the only ones at the meeting and seemed to be offended that USBW was there protesting illegal immigration, waving signes, flags and yelling in bullhorns.

My wife and I will have nothing further to do with the TEA Party in this area. It has become a self serving event for a few who run it to stroke their ego's and make money. We got pretty angry last sumer (July) when the TEA Party allowed politicians and vendors to take over that protest against big government. Now that the Republican's, Palin, Dick Armey and the rest of the FOX clowns have hijacked the TEA Party I am glad we made this decision.

When the Tea Party people were in Washington D.C. fighting the health care bill, one of the leaders spoke to Fox News. She said, "When we get done fighting this health care bill, we'll be right back here fighting amnesty for illegals." So, I think the majority of the Tea Party members are against amnesty and will fight with us when the time comes.

I think tea party groups are divided on this issue, some don't see or understand the full impact illegal immigration is having on our economy, jobs, schools, health care, hospitals, jails etc......they are more worried about alienating Hispanics from their movement or their groups looking racist.

There is no time left for these people too worry about the names we are being called, if our elected officials don't have the guts to do what is right and enforce out laws, we need to bring it out in the open where they stand on illegal immigration so we can remove them from office and you can not do that by ignoring the subject.

Palin is doing all possible to avoid the subject....some how we have got to get it out in the open, we have to demand they talk about it. We have to bring it up at town hall meetings and at protests, and we can not cowar on the subject.

You are exactly right, you need to send this CIS study to the Tea Party "leaders", http://www.cis.org/ImmigrationEffectCon ... ortionment, it shows how illegal aliens and anchor babies have shifted from 9 to 16 Congressional seats from conservative to liberal politicians. That is more than the margin by which "health care reform" passed.

In other words illegals not only greatly increase demand for government services, they help elect politicians who tax us to supply those services. That is why every leftist, progressive, Socialist, Communist, anti-American Constitution group embraces illegal aliens.

Or you might just point out that foreign criminals breaking into the US is not "immigration", it is a foreign invasion.

If your current "leaders" don't get it, then you need to find and install new leaders who do.

It's incredible that any group that wants less government spending, reduced deficits, less debt, less welfare and lower taxes doesn't want to take a stand against one of the primary reasons our country has more of all that and is going bankrupt as a result.
My feeling is that the Republicans and the Democrats both want amnesty

    Tea Party Leadership

TEA PARTY LEADERSHIP is corrupt with the globalist agenda. They are in bed with the likes of McCain supporters, North American Union nutjobs etc

Its all about the money agenda and taxing the rich that they are against....That is all.

They could care less if Mexico invaded as long as their taxes are low and they can afford that 2nd and 3rd yacht...

This web site was posted on our local tea party blog. You have to see what the 50 ideas for the tea party should be according to the poster.

    http://actionsfor.us

50 things and this is the only entry under Immigration:

    Immigration

Immigrants have founded about 25% of the technology companies in the U.S. To import immigrant entrepreneurs, we should have a Jobs Creator Visa. It would be temporary for an immigrant who creates a business and is already here on another visa. It would be extended when the firm hires at least one American non-family resident. It would become permanent when the firm hires at least five American non-family residents. (Robert E. Litan, Kauffman Foundation, Opinion, Wall Street Journal, A19, March 8, 2010)
The other 49 are almost as bad.

Neil Cavuto is coming to Atlanta. I work at the Capitol, only have to walk outside and go across the street. Of course, if I decide to do so I will have my anti-amnesty sign, but if these are the people the movement attracts, I really have lost my taste for this movement.

At a local tea party last summer, I was handing out information sheets I prepared about the costs of illegal immigration at the entrance. I was alone but people were nice, except one guy who would not accept it. Turns out he was a builder, we are already subsidizing his labor force and he wants to pay less taxes on his ill gotten profits.

Just Say No To Amnesty. Like Right Now! K?

Just left TPP rally; everyone (there were plenty) in the hall took turns introducing "ourselves." (this was after taking the Pledge of Allegiance!)

As promised, when my turn came, I raised my hand and said, :My name is >>>>>>> >>>>>>> and I'm a California native. I believe in The Constitution of the United States and I'm against amnesty for illegal aliens." Period.

I got one of the loudest rounds of applause in the room; including a hoorah (there were a lot of military and ex-military there, inc. myself.)

One lady (dressed in red, white, and blue) was passing out Neretelli (something like that) for governor brochures. I read what it said re: immigration, "We need to protect our borders, we need to protect "legal" aliens.........I stopped reading and asked what was his position on amnesty? she replied, "I could find out by driving to a town hall meeting in the Capitol." I said, "Why do I have to drive to the Capital to find out his position on amnesty?" she said, "he was being careful not to offend anyone." I said anyone like who, illegal aliens?" she said, "Well some people have friends that are illegal aliens."

I shredded the brochure in half "right in front of her" and threw it on he floor. (in front of her as she was walking away)

p.s. will try to explain TPP position (The Constitution) when i've had more rest. I think, there may be more to this (lack of position on immigration) than meets the eye.

BUT, I SWEAR TO YOU ON MY GRANDMOTHERS......no i won't go that far, but I have, to the best of my knowledge, never lied to "you," AND I PROMISE DUE DILIGENCE ON MY PART TO GET AHEAD OF THIS ISSUE.

AFTER ALL, I'M THE ONE LIVING AND WORKING IN A DESIGNATED HISPANIC GANG ZONE. (no, I won't name names; I would like very much to wake up in the morning) thank you very much.

P.S.S. GeorgiaPeach, you had me so fired up, i was practically breathing "fire and brimstone." (whatever that is.)

    ONE MORE THING

    OK, I'M RESTED.

Allow me to point out one simple fact before "we" go any further.

I am NOT a spokesperson for the TPP.

I am NOT an "official spokeperson", even for the TPP chapter I belong to (except, that from what I understand, we (TPP) are ALL spokespersons.

Although, I did raise hell WITH the spokesperson, AS TO "WHY AREN'T OUR IMMIGRATION LAWS BEING ENFORCED." I did try really hard to put on my Clint Eastwood pissed off just a bit tone; thanks GeorgiaPeach.

I am a TPP (in good standing, I must say), but have ABSOLUTELY NO INTENTION WHATSOEVER OF ELEVATING MYSELF TO THE LEVEL OF SPOKESPERSON! (well...maybe just a touch.... for my ego. K?)

Rather I'm attempting to share with you MY experiece with said party.

see you soon, keep coming back.

I am sincerley bummed to hear that. which party would you suggest? i'm open to suggestions. (no one, that I know of, including TPP ever suggsted that 92.5% of the incumbents currently in office weren't gangsters)

Is that the point you were trying to make? from what I understand, the hardest part of this deal is trying to find politicians who won't "backslide" once they're annointed.

Aside from a handful i'm aware of that may well be THE most difficult part in turning things around.

If, things can't be turned around, i've spoken with more than one, who will drop out and go live on Indian reservations and stuff.

So, bottom line, I'm pretty much going to have to agree with you, although i'm praying like hell it doesn't get to that.
