Pat Buchanan: election fraud against securing the border

Securing a border is not that difficult. In 1954, President Eisenhower sent an Army general to Texas to do it. He began repatriating thousands of Mexicans and had the situation in hand within a year. Along the San Diego corridor, a crude fence of corrugated steel matting from U.S. airfields in Vietnam has stopped illegal trucks from crossing, cut back 90 percent on the illegal alien traffic, and virtually eliminated murders and assaults in the border area.

Measures taken lately at the state and federal level, though grudgingly by the administration, have begun to bear fruit.

After Arizonans voted to cut off all social benefits to residents who could not prove they were in the country legally came reports of people pulling their kids out of public schools and leaving the state.

From the border come reports that added Border Patrol agents have reduced the number of illegal aliens apprehended, suggesting word has gone out south of the border that it is no longer so easy to walk in. And deportations of criminal aliens, long demanded, is actually going up.

Let it be said: Our border can be secured; the illegal aliens can be sent home; the magnets that draw them here can be turned off. This crisis can be resolved if the courage and will are there. Unfortunately, we have a government that does not seem to care and probable nominees neither of whom is committed in his heart to doing it.

Given the manifest will of the people that this invasion from the south be halted and rolled back, the 2008 election is shaping up as yet further confirmation that American democracy is a fraud.

the rest of Pat Buchanan's Townhall article, "Katrina Nation"
One man's terrorist is another man's undocumented worker.

Unless we enforce laws against illegal aliens today,
tomorrow WE may wake up as illegals.

The last word: illegal aliens are ILLEGAL!

[b]In 1954, President Eisenhower sent an Army general to Texas to do it. He began repatriating thousands of Mexicans and had the situation in hand within a year. It has been very apparent President Bush has had an "Amnesty approach" because there could have been a whole lot more done during his terms to control the influx of illegal aliens. September 11, 2001 should stare him straight in the face!

The whole mess is here because Bush has made an issue out of illegal immigration simply by ignoring the problem and not enforcing our existing immigration laws in the first place. Any President who is genuinely concerned for his nation's saftey and welfare would have shut the border down and not let neo-con conspiracies dictate his decisions. One popular conspiracy is to convince the American people that cutting off the flow of cheap labor and deporting (either through attrition or rounding them up) will devistate the economy. This is just a big lie and is nothing more than BS!

The very idea that millions of people are allowed to cross our border without our President's concern is what bothers me. Why does this President continue to sit on his hands and not speak up to warn Mexico of border enforcement. It is as if he is condoning the greed that keeps the Mexican government from opening up its resources and taking care of its people. Has he been threatened by the Mexican government, does he have skeletons in a Mexican closet? (Take our poor, employ them, or we will turn the screws on you!) Or is it just his own traitorous attempt to further the NAU? Another thing..ths country should not allow the leader of another government to roam freely throughout this country. He should be escorted by our government. Fox and Calderon are doing nothing but embolding their patriots' status of legality in this country and getting them ready for a big revolt if and when the time for it comes. I consider this an act of war.

One thing is for sure. The proponents of the OBL in this country view the Mexican elite's handling of its workers, what they are paid and the general oppression of the Mexican people as IDEAL! Thus, they lobby our government to try and achieve what the Mexican elites have. Since Bush is a corporate backer and not a backer of the American citizen, he is the perfect instrument to be used to form a cheaper work force to which he has implemented by grossly allowing illegal immigration to happen. Alot of you will say 'well, Bush is all part of this and he is not being used'. You may very well be right, but if he is under duress, then he deserves his pain for not doing the right thing.

This President continues to be in gross violation of his oath to protect our borders, protect us from invasion and most of all, protect and enforce our Constitution and all for what? How will the NAU benefit Bush himself?

Actually, Rockfish I think you summed it up pretty well. Its not so much that the NAU benefits Bush, its that the driving forces of the NAU benefit Bush in the short term. He keeps his power, and makes his money through the lobbys, interest groups, and transnational elites who are the ones who really benefit from world government. I don't think that Bush cares at all about Mexico. He just shares common interests with the Mexican elite, and as you said, wishes the same for America that Mexico already has. That is, a small elite controlling all of the wealth, and an enormous, uneducated, disposessed underclass. The destruction of the middle-classes and sovereignty throughout the world are the two primary objectives.

Just look at Mexico. No midle-class. Few rights for its citizens. Small corrupt elite controlling everything. And this elite does not even come from the same background as the vast majority of the population. Mexico already lacks a middle-class and true sovereignty. Mexico is a microcosm of what world government will look like.
Serve Bush with his letter of resignation.

    See you at the signing!!
