I received a fund raising letter from Barletta's campaign last week, and I'm sending him another donation.

Regardless of the outcome of the presidential race in November, and whether or not the Democrats gain more seats in Congress, or the Republicans hold their ground in the House and Senate, we have a chance to send a strong, unambiguous message, by seeing to it, that Barletta is elected.

I think he has what it takes to become a real leader in Congress, and with Tancredo not running for re-election, a real leader will be badly needed in the House, on the illegal invasion issue. It would also give those in Congress, who always see which way the political winds are blowing, before casting a vote, a reason to buck the "leadership" of their parties on more amnesty attempts.
