Monday, at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey, during an address to the troops, President Obama made a joke that they are like "'Santa in Fatigues," which was received with complete silence, prompting the president to nervously name-drop the military aircraft C-130 to evoke a response.

President Obama said, "We are free and safe and secure over here because you are willing to serve over there," adding "You never stop serving, you never stop giving, you guys are like Santa in fatigues. Although I bet one of those C-130's is a little more efficient then Santa's sleigh."

Silence is what it got because that is what it deserved.

I'm not usually at a loss for words but I've been struggling with how to respond to the revelation that this Moron in the American White House is so out of touch with reality that he believes members of the US Armed Services who have been giving their lives for our country in Afghanistan for 13 years is the same as Santa giving out toys to kids in their living rooms on a holiday.

I just hope that our Congress realizes they just handed the largest budget in US history that grows the already largest public debt in the world to a complete idiot.
