Pro-Amnesty group feels betrayed by Sen. Boxer/Feinstein

From: Angelica Salas - CHIRLA (CHIRLA@mail.democracyinaction.org)

Our California Senators, Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer really disappointed us last week.

Last Thursday they both voted to expand construction of the border fence. Their vote will cost at least $2 billion, weakens environmental protections and is sure to result in more deaths in the desert.

An expanded border fence without comprehensive immigration reform will result in more deaths in the desert. Most Democratic Senators voted NO but Boxer and Feinstein voted YES.

We can't afford any more piecemeal, get tough policies we need comprehensive immigration reform THIS YEAR that is just and humane.

We have made our concerns about the border fence clear to both Senators Boxer and Feinstein as well as our frustration that our country is still waiting for comprehensive immigration reform. It is up to us to let them know that we expect more from them in Washington.

Please sign our petition to Senators Boxer and Feinstein to demand that they do the right thing by clicking here or by visiting www.BoxerFeinsteinBetrayal(dot)org

Once you've signed the petition please help us circulate this petition today to friends and family, especially to those here in California.

    Sincerely,

    Angelica Salas

    Executive Director

What "country" is waiting for "comprehensive immigration" reform aka amnesty? Mexico?

The United States is waiting for our border to be secured and our immigration laws to be enforced!

As far as boxer and feinstein go. They got into bed with the illegal invader advocates long ago, thereby selling out this country and the American people! Hope these two traitors enjoy being cannibalized by the open border zealots and pro-illegals that have joined alliances with.

    Petition signed - yeah, right!

Trust me, Boxer and Feinstein probably didn't want to vote for the amendments. IMO, they were boxed into a corner and had very little choice in the matter. Integrity is something in short supply in our Congress. If Boxer and Feinstein had integrity, they probably would have remained consistent and voted against the amendments. However, I think job preservation probably took front seat on this one. Integrity be damned, can't risk losing my job! Well, their lack of integrity worked out to our advantage this time.

With the above said, I'm sure Boxer and Feinstein knew that Reid and Pelosi would work overtime to have the amendments removed in committee. Hopefully we, the American people, can stop that from happening.

This petition smells even without being strategically placed

I think this petition belongs in the bottom of my cat litter box where it can do some good.

What kind of backwards statement is this? In the Yuma desert the border fence has greatly reduced the death rate!!
