Protest to the Three Republicans Sponsoring H.R. 5882

Three major Republican Representatives are co-sponsoring H.R. 5882 brought by Zoe Lofgen (D-CA). Sen. Menendez (D-NJ) is holding reauthorization of the E-Verify program "captive" in return for passage of this bill, which would effectively change the Green Card system by allowing "unused Green Cards" to "roll over" for use in subsequent years.

One, Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner is very influencial, and his co-sponsorship of this legislation brings great clout to its passage. He is a long-time member of the House Judiciary Committee, and wrote the omnibus anti-illegal immigration bill which brought about the attempted Senate amnesty legislation last summer. Rep. Sessions generally is a strong opponent of illegal immigration.

Constituents and Republicans nationally, please advise these three Republican Congressmen that you object to their co-sponsorship of H.R. 5882, and to any and all increases in legal immigration numbers to the United States:

Perhaps we should point out that unemployment numbers are increasing. Too many Americans are losing their job and their home.

We should be looking at reduced numbers of VISAs and foreign workers.

Congress needs to work at putting Americans to work, not foreign workers !

    I second the motion..!
No need for ‘mass roundups’, simply ENFORCE EXISTING law*& MANDATE the worker ID, ..but SEVEN amnesties? Hmm, WHO cried wolf?!
