Thread: A quick thought

Why don't Alipacers run for office? It makes sense, you can all run for offices on the local level. Pro Americans need to start making gains, so we can restore our democratic practice and republic. You can run for school board reps, treasurers, city council, smaller accessible offices,anything. It is a great way to get in and affect the political process. Besides you know you will ALWAYS have a huge community of support and ideas!

Well, I live in Seattle where it is the good old girl system of socialism and communism that seems to get you elected to lower tier political positions. But I am seriously thinking about trying some day. If I lived in a rural place I would do it, if I had a wife I would encourage her to run. But I am much better at leading a (mod edit) charge then a police action.

Many seats go unchallenged in all parts of the country. In some places it is easy to find a constituency that has been denied voice or is actually looking to get someone new into the game. But it would be great to get some common sense folk into office.

Yes I heard about your state governor (governess? tehe) too bad. Well, risks are worth taking, someone must fight the system. You are right in all you have said, many people here would serve their fellow citizens well.
