Reconquista lists 10 reasons not to vote for Obama.

    From: "Ron Gochez" <mexicanoatucla@aol.com>

A response to the Ten Reasons We Should Turn Out the Vote for Barack Obama...

Of course everyone has the right to their opinion and share it...so I will share mine, along with some facts about Obama...I will not mention McCain because I think that we ALL understand that he will just be an exact replica of Bush...We don't have anything against Obama as a person...we are just very clear on the fact that his party is just as much our enemy as the Republican Party.

So here you go...Ten Reasons Why we should NOT vote for Barack Obama

    1. Obama, regardless of his skin color, has NOTHING to do with social justice, liberation, "Immigrant" Rights...etc. He is a loyal servant of capitalism/imperial ism and the White Power STRUCTURE/social system that he wishes to represent. What was Obama's response when the Cops (brutal executioners) of Sean Bell, an innocent African who had barely gotten married, was found not guilty by a New York court? Obama stated; "The judge has made his ruling, and we're a nation of laws, so we respect the verdict that came down."

    2. Obama voted FOR: the extension of the US/Mexico border which had ALREADY killed almost 5,000 human beings even before the extension.

    3. Obama didn't even MENTION a possible immigration legalization/ reform in ANY of the 3 major debates against McCain. He has completely abandoned the possibility of an immigration reform. He hasn't mentioned the DREAM ACT or anything like it.

    4. Obama voted to increase the budget of the Border Patrol and Immigration Customs Inforcement which has led to a dramatic increase in ICE Raids all over the country.

    5. Obama, along with all of the other Democrats and Republicans, voted to GIVE AWAY $700,000,000, 000 (11 zeros means 700 billion!!!) of our tax-dollars to a bunch of thieves (banks) who have already sucked the working class dry in this country.

    6. Although he voted against the Iraq war initially, Obama voted to continue funding the illegal and terrorist war against the people of Iraq.
    7. Obama has already hinted at military action in Iran...so please do not speak of Obama as some candidate for peace.

    8. Obama is a self-proclaimed Zionist who has continued to cater to the Zionist leaders of Israel. He has unconditionally supported the illegal and terrorist occupation of Palestinian territories by the illegal settler state also known as Israel.

    9. Obama has openly and publicly attacked the democratically elected presidents (they REALLY do stand for social justice) of numerous revolutionary South American nations such as Venezuela, Bolivia and Ecuador. And of course...like every other US President, Obama has continued to cater to the gusano-terrorist- mafia in Miami (anti-revolutionary Cuban traitors) who continue to support the strangulation of the Cuban people by the US Embargo.

    10. Obama is a neo-colonialist. Franz Fanon would say that he represents White Power in a Black Face. Omali Yeshitela, the Chairman of the African People's Socialist Party (fraternal organization of Union Del Barrio) best summed up the current political paradigm when he stated: "Some Africans will vote for Obama because they THINK he represents Black Power. Whites will vote for Obama because they know that de does NOT."

I could keep going but for me, that is MUCH more than enough to note vote for yet another Democrat...So who am I going to vote for? Nobody! By voting, we are providing validity to an absolutley false voting process that the entire world recognizes as a farce. Didn't the 2000 election prove that to everyone? We WILL be involved in the political process but we insist that voting is NOT the only way to get involved and make changes in this society.

Haven't we learned from Malcolm X who taught us over 40 years ago about the Democrats and Republicans? He said "You always put them (Democrats) first and they always put you last! Do you know why? Because you are a chump! A political chump!" I for one will not be a chump. I will continue to organize in my community with the clear understanding that the Democratic Party is just as much the enemy of poor/people of color as the Republicans. Our grassroots work will not change...before, during and after the false "election" of the US President. I know that a lot of people will criticize our stance but we know that history will prove our analysis to be correct. Regardless of who wins tomorrows "election", living conditions for Africans, Raza and all poor and people of color in this country will not get any better. Politicians will not make our lives better! Only WE can make that a reality and to do that we must organize and we must struggle!

Since we do not believe that the elections are legitimate in this country, we do not believe in the favorite slogans of those who wish to limit struggle to the act of voting. They tell us that "Your voice is your vote" or "Today we vote and tomorrow we march"...to that we will answer.."vote for who???" We say "Today we organize, tomorrow we organize!" We have to build a political party for the people and by the people that has NOTHING to do with the "Republicrats" ! That is what Union Del Barrio is currently constructing!

Black and Brown Power! All power to the people!

    Whoa!

I wonder how many of their racist supporters will see this before tomorrow?
The flag flies at half-mast out of grief for the death of my beautiful, formerly-free America. May God have mercy on your souls.

This guy is waiting on Stalin or maybe Mussolini to come along, ya think?? He's a real loser's winner. He doesn't even know Obama did NOT vote against the Iraq war, he wasn't even in the Senate at the time.

Well, he got part of that right, but I would suggest getting yourself organized, educated and GET A JOB, instead of trying to figure out ways to con money from those that do work and you might find the "struggle" not so difficult.

Those tyrants wouldn't qualify either, it seems he wants somebody like Pol Pot, who tried to wipe out Cambodia's history and culture and start all over. They even had calenders starting at Year Zero.
