WHY is the USA BANKRUPT?

You think the war in Iraq is costing us too much? Read this:

Boy, was I confused. I have been hammered with the propaganda that it is the Iraq war and the war on terror that is bankrupting us.

I now find that to be RIDICULOUS.

1. $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year by state governments.


2. $2.2 Billion dollars a year is spent on food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens.

The total cost is a whopping $ 338.3 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR AND IF YOU'RE LIKE ME HAVING TROUBLE UNDERSTANDING THIS AMOUNT OF MONEY; IT IS $338,300,000,000.00 WHICH WOULD BE ENOUGH TO STIMULATE THE ECONOMY FOR THE CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY.

Are we THAT stupid? YES, FOR LETTING THOSE IN THE U.S.CONGRESS GET AWAY WITH LETTING THIS HAPPEN YEAR AFTER YEAR!!!!!

For the encouragement and further information. And yes, I can see really quick how those are just the "published" costs, and how the actual cost in dollars and in criminal activity is much higher.
I always think of the many really qualified and would-be grateful people in countries like England, and so many others that don't have a contiguous border with the U.S. like Mexico does, who have to wait years to even get a shot at becoming a citizen !
I have a friend who has lived in the U.S. since 1976, who came from Holland.
Way back, in 1984, he went to be sworn in as an American citizen in New Orleans; he left very quickly when he saw that many of the "new citizens-to-be" could barely, if at all, speak English, that there was laughter and general disrespect, and someone was passing around a "cheat sheet". He never became a citizen, but was married to an American citizen in 1985 and still resides here. I wish he had become a citizen regardless, but it's just both amazing and sad that there is so little respect and gratitude by many of our own citizens for all the things we have.

Wow. Raping figures. Why would the country allow such travesty to go on and on? There must be some sort of hidden agenda to incur such high costs and still condone illegal immigration. Did we bend over to Mexico or something?
