You are clearly ignoring the discussion in order to make a speech. This all started over a response to thanking Cruz for the endorsement, which I objected to. But it has become very clear that he is doing nothing of the kind. He is not supporting or endorsing Trump, he is just voting against Clinton. Which is fine, but not anything like support or endorsement.

Cruz is very clearly indifferent to who wins the presidency. What are Cruz's chances of running for the office in 2020 if Trump wins? If Clinton wins, he is still sitting in the senate.

If Cruz wants to actually endorse Trump, he should show some actual enthusiasm for something -- anything -- that Trump is campaigning for. It is rather ominous that he can't seem to find anything positive about his campaign. Nothing.

ALIPAC is about stopping illegal immigration. The reason we post about Presidential candidates at all is to try to elect a candidate who will stop illegal immigration, secure our borders and reduce legal immigration. Because our trade deals have clauses that encourage immigration including turning blind eyes to illegal immigration, trade issues are also part of our work here, so Presidential candidates positions on free trade deals are also a key point of vital concern.

As far as I'm concerned, Texas will take care of Cruz, and frankly, the more people see Cruz in these interviews, the more it actually helps Trump, because it shows the General Electorate why the Best Man Won the Republican Primary by the largest number of votes in the history of the Republican Party.

That's another thing very strange about the interview from the Texas Tribune posted above. Not once did either the interviewer or Cruz himself address the issue of illegal immigration. Not only that, but nobody in the audience asked him about it either. Notice also that student who said that his whole family was voting for Clinton didn't say why they all objected so passionately to Trump and Cruz didn't ask him why.

Oh geez, now I'm going to have to watch the whole thing. My blood was boiling over just the "clip", but now you sparked my interest and I need to watch the whole thing. If you don't see me post again, it's because my headed exploded.

Okay, I watched the whole thing and survived. It was the typical Cruz dance of struggling, laying awake at night wrestling with who he was going to vote for. He said his wife Heidi and his Dad both laughed off the tweets by Trump about them. The retweet about Heidi was funny if you have a sense of humor. The tweet and comments about his Dad were news. So, here's Ted Cruz who can't take a joke and who considers news about a member of his family an attack. Fine. WhatEVer.

The audience was primarily UT students in Austin, Texas which is a very liberal community with students more concerned with political gossip than truth, jobs and money. If they read something someone says someone said, then this is their call to arms.

Evan Smith for example made a big mistake when speaking about Trump's "national stop and frisk" suggestion. Trump never made a "national stop and frisk" suggestion. He suggested Chicago should consider it because it worked so well in New York City when Rudy was Mayor.

But hey, "journalist" Evan Smith, don't let the truth and what someone actually said get in your way.

After watching the whole interview, there is no doubt that Ted is still what most of us think he is, and we'll just leave it there.
