Republicans Keep Control of House
CNN and MSNBC project Republicans hold onto control of the U.S. House of Representatives.
- With 42 states closed, Democrats haven't gained the 25 seats they would need to gain control of that chamber.
- House Speaker John Boehner will likely continue his role, pending Republican leadership elections next week.
- Representative Ben Chandler, D-KY, has lost re-election to Republican Andy Barr.
