    Senate pulls refunds for illegals

    Just announced on Neil Cavuto

    He said in committee they decided to pull the prevision
    to give rebates to illegals

    I agree that illegals should ABSOLUTELY NOT get a refund. But there are many legal taxpaying residents with resident alien cards. What about them? I wonder if they will get refunds. I do think these taxpaying residents should get a refund, but I don't know if the gov't distinguishes between legal and illegal (with fake IDs or fake/stolen social security numbers, for example) resident aliens.

    I know some resident aliens who have been here for over 20 years and who have paid full taxes ever since they arrived. They didn't become citizens because they have family back home, might want to return to be near family in their old age, and don't want to give up their French, German, British, etc. citizenship.
