    Specter says it's going to be a rough ride to pass.

    Kennedy said 2 of the amendment that would defeat this bill have been voted down.

    Votes will go on through the evening.

    Procedural cloture vote tomorrow will need 60 votes.

    Webb is voting against bill.

    Lou is talking about Vitter being upset over procedures

    And DeMint asking how many rules are we going to chance.

    Senators are saying the bill give illegals rights but curtails Senators rights.

    Coming up on Lou Dobbs - New threat from China...defective auto tires! Our government has been aware of this threat. Why haven't they done anything?

    450,000 defective tires currently on our roads. They refuse to recall. Bush arguing over who will pay for the recall. Second largest tire manufacturer in China.

    Connecticut Attorney General is trying to stop this dangerous import.

    Again, our safety is irrelevant. Tainted pet food, poisonous toothpaste. Now, defective tires.

    Lack of communication and coordination between FBI and Immigration is endangering our security. Former FBI Agent says that all agencies must be on the same page. More examples of the inept system.

    Passing the buck. As usual, no one wants to take responsibility.

    Lou said that Chertoff needs to spend more time concerned with our security than lobbying the special interest groups.
