Poor Sessions looks half asleep. Guessing not alot of shut eye went on last night. Proud of him holdin up for us.

Sessions says it's going to be a cliffhanger. Senate office phones are ringing off the hooks. Many are NOT going to vote for cloture.

Lou commends Sessions for his efforts.

I'm back for a few minutes. Heard Sessions say there is a Cloture vote for tomorrow morning at 9 EST and the results will be razor thin as far as passage because he thinks more of the Senators are not as excited about this bill as they were. This Cloture vote could mean life or death for this bill.

Univision is boasting that many of the amendments that would have killed the bill have been rejected.

Dorgan is on now. Lou comments on the behavior of the senators today, behaving as "school boys."

This legislation would double the number of legal immigration, while not curtailing by any significant amount the illegal.

Dorgan stating that our current laws, if enforced, would solve much of our problems.

Lou - Bush is ignoring our borders while we fight the War on Terror.

Lou thought he was watching the Soviet Union today instead the the US Senate.

Dorgan said we need to get control of our borders first.

In 2005 we had 3.8 million people came here legally, but I guess they think we need more.
