Controversial Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio's chief deputy is being deposed a second time in a racially-charged lawsuit.

Maricopa County Chief Deputy David Hendershott is scheduled to be deposed Friday as part of a lawsuit that accuses the agency of profiling Hispanics in immigration patrols.

Hendershott was first deposed in February.

He is on paid leave after an administrative investigation was launched into a memo by a top sheriff's manager who alleged unethical behavior by Hendershott and two other officials.

The chief deputy will be the last of nine sheriff's officials to recently be deposed in the lawsuit. The county's top sheriff, Arpaio, has been deposed twice too.

The sheriff's office denies the profiling allegations and says people pulled over in the patrols were approached because deputies had probable cause to believe they had committed crimes.

I live here in Maricopa county and every time you turn on the news they are trying to stop this man from doing his job, it is ridiculus.
