Should we change our talking points? What do you think?

The message I keep getting from everyone is the economy is most important. The Presidential Debate last night focused on the economy, lets face it; people are most concerned about their own finances. I believe if we focus on telling people the cost of illegals we can get more of America on board. For instance, we are spending about $125. per man, woman and child in America per year on illegals, now a family of 4 is paying an extra $500. per year. Here are some talking points that I posted on my website www.whathappenedtomyamerica.com
some time ago under the heading "You asked for it".

You think the war in Iraq is costing us too much? Read this:

And that's just the tip of the iceburg. Doesn't even hit personal costs etc. paid for by citizens.

Those are some very good points and it doesn't touch many expenses to citizens personally.

The war and it's damage is important to me, but if we don't get a handle on this, and when the next President gives amnesty, it won't matter what we do in Iraq, it won't matter how much it costs, this country, as we know it, is history.

It's sad to think the politicians have done so much damage to this country that many of us feel this nation is in its last days.

This list touches upon illegal drugs but this point needs to be further developed.

Mexican drug cartels now dominate drug distribution in the U.S..

Since the majority of all crime is associated to drug abuse, I suspect the drugs that flow from south of the border via illegal aliens cost the U.S. trillions.

Anyone have the time to do this research to prove this premise true or false?
