    SPP SHELVED???

One thing I have learned while researching so much of this stuff is that it's all about semantics. When concerned citizens ask if a NAFTA Superhighway is being built, it is denied, because that is not the official name used. The official name is NASCO Corridor. And Texas denies the existence of a NAFTA Superhighway because it is officially called the Trans-Texas Corridor (TTC), and since it ends at its own borders to the north and south, it is only indirectly associated with NAFTA/NASCO.

The plans for the SPP have slowed considerably and have been placed on the back burner for now by the Bush Administration. BUT...the state of Texas is pursuing this agenda indirectly, yet on a grand scale, through what is officially called the FTA San Antonio, or Free Trade Alliance San Antonio, among local, state, and international governments, the private sector, and corporate affiliates. Other states have or plan to form such alliances as well. The FTA will continue to pursue expansion within all of the U.S. and continue its lobbying efforts to influence federal and state policies to support this plan which would also include the expansion of NASCO corridors.

The most recent, clandestine operation by the Bush Administration is the Transatlantic Partnership's Transatlantic Policy Network (TPN), which is sponsored by the Transatlantic Economic Council (TEC). The TPN is the plan to unite the U.S. with the EU, and the TEC is the official international authority established by the U.S./EU to develop and drive the economic, trade, and policy goals of the TPN, aided by the Streit Council, an international "CFR" of sorts, and organized by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), an international organization of participating democracies. Implementation of the trade system is scheduled for 2015.

The main reason the SPP has been temporarily shelved by Bush is that the plans have been somewhat sabotaged by the increasingly widespread public exposure in Canada and the U.S., which was not the original intent. Some experts involved in the SPP now believe that this intended supreme secrecy was actually the cause of its downfall. Apparently, though, there are still plenty of business elites and certain members of Congress and the Senate who still plan to pursue the SPP, but for right now, without the full force power of the Bush Administration.

    SO...ARE YOU TOTALLY CONFUSED???

They (the Globalistas) haven't given up on their plans for the NAU, as Bush's call for an aid package to Mexico, that would provide for a fence being built on MEXICO's southern border indicates.

I don't know that they have slowed, maybe they have gotten more sneaky.

They SPP meeting is planned for April??? in New Orleans. Home of Hallaburton's illegals, rebuilding delays, residents that are being blocked from returning... What do they have planned for the French Quarter? More Taco Stands or a Chinatown...

The plan to invest and develop Mexico's infrastructure is/was part of the SPP plan, and was included within the texts of the two comprehensive immigration reform bills as well as other legislation. These plans will continue to be pursued at least within the NAFTA framework. I, personally, think that these plans should have been pursued FIRST, before attempting to completely open up our borders and create any type of North American consolidation, because it would have helped to eliminate the need for massive numbers of the Mexican population to invade our country. Duh!!!!!!

Please understand that I am not advocating for such a consolidation...I'm just saying that the powers that be were so stupid thinking that the American "adoption" of 12-38 million impoverished, third-world Latin American immigrants would NOT have a devastating effect on our country! What IDIOTS!!!

    Good info Mtnwoman.

I believe congress stopped funding for the SPP but they will find ways to get around any roadblocks put in their way.

I watched NOW on PBS last night and the Prez is working hard to get his mining & logging friends access to our national forest which have been designated "No Roads" areas to protect our national heritage which he wants to destroy by giving them to rich businesses to exploit.Especially in Idaho & Utah.

We will need to watch him closely this year as he will e trying to do as much damage as he can before he leaves office.

If Obama's plan for the Global Poverty bill is enacted, we are toast. The elite have sold us out to the United Nations. Do you think when they are in control, we will have any resources or rights left? The UN is complaining about the alleged abuse of illegals in our country now, they will just eliminate our borders and country.

Exactly!!! The motives are always the same...the exploitation and control of the world's resources...masqueraded by an intent to proliferate democracy!

The new plans are designed to circumvent the UN as well!
