WAY TO GO GOV. BRANSTED!!!! Obama flies illegal teens to Iowa. THE IOWA GOVERNOR FLIES THEM BACK TO HONDURAS. When Governor Bransted of Iowa announced: "Iowa will not take any illegal children," Obama overruled him and sent him 124 teens, aged13-19. When the plane landed in Des Moines Iowa the airport manager called the office of the Governor. The Governor drove to the airport and chartered a United Airlines plane from Chicago. WITHIN 8 HOURS all the teens WERE FED AND LOADED ON THAT PLANE. The plane left Iowa at 8 o'clock Des Moines time. IT'S NEXT STOP WAS HONDURAS. The plane landed and was unloaded. Four Social Workers from Iowa made sure the teens got safely to the terminal, and the Social Workers told the Honduran officials, "HERE ARE YOUR TEENS, THEY HAVE NO PAPERS, YOU LET THEM COME ILLEGALLY TO AMERICA. WE REFUSE TO TAKE THEM. Iowa has its own laws. MINORS FROM OUTSIDE OUR COUNTRY NOT ACCOMPANIED BY ADULTS MAY NOT ENTER OUR STATE." Iowa has not heard one thing from Washington. http://www.nesaranetwork.com/2014/08...r-it-for-iowa/

Sounds good but doubt if true, sadly the governor would not have that authority.

Ok I went to the source link and ended at something titled the "Nesara News Network" and my cursory inspection of the source links inside this suspected disinfo piece back up the core claim the Iowa Gov flew the illegals home!

So I did a cross search on "Nesara" and im not sure if this site is related to this or not, but the rabbit hole may have just gotten a lot deeper!......

National Economic Security and Recovery Act (NESARA) was a set of proposed economic reforms suggested during the 1990s by Harvey Francis Barnard. Barnard claimed that the proposals, which included replacing the income tax with a national sales tax (see also FairTax), abolishing compound interest on secured loans, and returning to a bimetallic currency, would result in 0% inflation and a more stable economy. The proposals were never introduced before Congress. NESARA has since become better known as the subject of a cult-like conspiracy theory promoted by Shaini Candace Goodwin, who claimed that the act was actually passed with additional provisions as the National Economic Security and Reformation Act, and then suppressed by the George W. Bush administration and the Supreme Court

Says Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad chartered a plane to remove 124 young illegal immigrants from his state and take them back to Honduras.

Chain email on Tuesday, August 26th, 2014 in a chain email

Did Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad charter a jet to send 124 immigrant children back to Honduras?

A group of immigrants from Honduras and El Salvador who crossed the U.S.-Mexico border illegally are stopped in Granjeno, Texas, on June 25, 2014.

The surge in unaccompanied minors coming from Central America to the U.S. border with Mexico may have moved off the front pages in recent weeks, but it’s still a hot topic on the Internet.

A reader recently sent us a chain email that lauds Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad, a Republican, for purportedly standing up to President Barack Obama’s decision to send more than 100 unaccompanied minors to Iowa. According to the email, Branstad quickly chartered a jet for the immigrant children and flew them all back to Honduras.

Spoiler alert: This adventure story is pure fiction.

Here’s the text of the email our reader received, complete with a misspelling of the governor’s name:
"Subject: Obama Flies Illegal Teens to Iowa -- Iowa Governor Flies Them Home

    "Did you know this?

"Obama just said ‘Up yours Iowa’ and Iowa shoved it back. Governor of Iowa -- Hurray for you, Governor, who announced: Iowa will not take any illegals kids (most teenagers) in IOWA.

"Yesterday Obama overruled him and sent him 124 young kids 13-19, landed the plane in Des Moines. Airport manager called the office of Governor Terry Bransted, who drove to the airport and chartered from Chicago a plane from United. Within 8 hours all the kids were loaded on, got food and drink. The plane left Iowa 8 o'clock Des Moines. Next stop was Honduras. Plane got unloaded, 4 social workers from Iowa made sure they got to the terminal, told the Honduras officials, here are your kids, they have no papers, you let them come illegal to America. Iowa refuses to take them. Iowa has their own laws. No minors who are not with adults. Iowa has not heard one thing from Washington. American states are fed up.

"The Governor is a Republican. Kind of makes me wonder if he would like to become a candidate for President in the next election.

"Yea for the HAWKEYE State! It is what all states should do in my opinion.

    "Let’s hear it for Iowa!!!"

We asked the governor’s office about the email. "It’s a rumor we have heard about for several weeks now, but it did not happen," said Jimmy Centers, Branstad’s communications director.

Moreover, a governor like Branstad wouldn’t have the power to quickly deport dozens of children back to Honduras -- that’s a process governed by federal, not state, law.

"Airport travel, as interstate commerce, is governed by federal law and Congress," said Kevin Johnson, dean of the University of California-Davis law school and a specialist in immigration law. "State infringement on interstate commerce has repeatedly been struck down by the Supreme Court. State laws taxing entrants into the state have been struck down for about the last century. The Iowa scenario could never happen lawfully."

Under an anti-human-trafficking law signed by President George W. Bush in 2008, unaccompanied minors from noncontiguous countries (such as Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala, the Central American countries fueling the current surge) are guaranteed access to the federal legal system to argue their case for remaining in the United States, rather than being deported outright, as unaccompanied minors from Mexico may be. In the wake of the surge of immigrant children, some lawmakers have called for revising or repealing the provision, but no such action has been taken yet.

The Des Moines Register reported that at least 139 unaccompanied immigrant children had entered the state between Jan. 1, 2014, and July 18, 2014. They arrived in a trickle, not in a large group like the one described in the email. They came to the state because relatives who lived in Iowa were able to take them in. The children were told to live with their relatives until an immigration judge can hear their case. A judicial decision on whether they are granted asylum or face deportation can take years, given current dockets and staffing.

In mid July -- before the email began circulating -- Branstad offered a mixed reaction to the possibility that some unaccompanied immigrant minors would end up in Iowa.

"The first thing we need to do is secure the border. I do have empathy for these kids," Branstad said, according to CBS News. "But I also don’t want to send the signal that (you) send your kids to America illegally. That’s not the right message."

    Our ruling

The chain email said that Branstad chartered a plane to remove 124 young illegal immigrants from his state and take them back to Honduras. Branstad’s office denies this, and there is no credible evidence to undercut the governor’s account. In addition, Branstad would have no authority to make such a move on his own. We rate the claim Pants on Fire.

I checked the links in the Nesara article and none of them said that the Gov sent illegals home. They just say that he said Iowa would not take any illegals.

Gov. Branstad Says No to Illegals

Posted 9:59 pm, July 14, 2014, by Aaron Brilbeck, Updated at 10:15pm, July 14, 2014

DES MOINES, Iowa — The immigration crisis hits home, with Gov. Terry Branstad saying illegals are not welcome in Iowa.

“Just because we’re an empathetic and supportive country doesn’t mean that we can take everybody,” Branstad told reporters, “The first thing we need to do is secure the border and I do have empathy for these kids, but I also don’t want to send the signal that send your kids to America illegally. That’s not the right message.”

Maria Rodriguez-Romero knows the pain deportation can cause. She and her brother, Geraldo, came to America 16-years ago. Two years ago, he was deported, leaving behind his wife and three kids. “I miss my brother a lot because not able to see him,” Rodriguez-Romero said, “It’s really sad because the kids no understand the love. The kids no understand what is their dad.”

Mary E. Campos is an American Citizenship Teacher. She says this isn’t a political or financial issue, it’s a humanitarian issue. “I’ve had Hondurans tell me that when the boys are seven or eight years old, if they don’t join the gangs, they just shoot them. The little girls, they rape them. What could you possibly do to a child that’s worse than that?” she asks.

The governor says no one on the federal level has contacted the state about housing the children here, and to his knowledge, none have been sent here. Over the weekend, Branstad and other governors met with the US Health and Human Services Secretary as the Obama Administration looks for states willing to host the children.

The easy way to figure out that stories like this are fake is to remember:

No city, county or state law enforcement officer or agency (OR GOVERNOR) can deport anyone.

ONLY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT CAN DEPORT PEOPLE.

I am really tired of hearing this crap that only the Federal government can deport or do anything with the precious illegal aliens. Brown of California can publicly declare that California is a sanctuary state and will protect the illegal alien scum who swarm over the border and of course the federal government does not enforce immigration law and will not allow anyone else to enforce immigration law.

This is crap. Please stop with the states or private citizens can not act because of the law. Obama, the federal government does not obey the law but we must obey it? I don’t want to hear that crap. Kick their asses out now. Call the state governors and demand they kick illegal aliens' asses out.

Go deport someone and find out if you have the right to deport people.

    IMMIGRATION LAW: AN OVERVIEW

Federal immigration law determines whether a person is an alien, the rights, duties, and obligations associated with being an alien in the United States, and how aliens gain residence or citizenship within the United States. It also provides the means by which certain aliens can become legally naturalized citizens with full rights of citizenship. Immigration law serves as a gatekeeper for the nation's border, determining who may enter, how long they may stay, and when they must leave.
Congress has complete authority over immigration.

Presidential power does not extend beyond refugee policy.

Except for questions regarding aliens' constitutional rights, the courts have generally found the immigration issue as nonjusticiable.

States have limited legislative authority regarding immigration, and 28 U.S.C. § 1251 details the full extent of state jurisdiction.

Generally, 28 U.S.C. § 994 details the federal sentencing guidelines for illegal entry into the country.

By controlling the visa process, the federal government can achieve the goals of its immigration policies. There are two types of visas: immigrant visas and nonimmigrant visas. The government primarily issues nonimmigrant visas to tourists and temporary business visitors. The government divides nonimmigrant visas into eighteen different types, but for most types, does not impose a cap on the number that may be granted in a year. Only a few categories of non-immigrant visas allow their holders to work in the United States. Immigrant visas, on the other hand, permit their holders to stay in the United States permanently and eventually to apply for citizenship. Aliens with immigrant visas can also work in the United States. Congress limits the quantity of immigrant visas, which numbered 675,000 in 1995. Many immigrant visas remain subject to per-country caps.
