Don't rewrite our immigration laws; ENFORCE them!

No Amnesty! Aggressive Enforcement! Stronger Border Security!

"I am calling to express my emphatic opposition to the 790 page Senate Bill 1348 (S. 134!
This bill is amnesty for illegal aliens and I know it.
We do not need a Guest Worker, Temporary Worker, path to citizenship, enforcement triggers, or any of the deceptive language the pro-amnesty crowd is using.
We are not stupid, and we know that over 80% of America's LEGAL citizens oppose this!"

-- Vote NO on S. 1348 or anything remotely like it!

-- An Amnesty by any other name is still an amnesty! This bill is AMNESTY!

-- Enforce the existing laws for five years to establish some credibility about enforcement before talking about letting illegal aliens stay in America.

-- The public is going to remove anyone that supports this legislation from office in 2008!

-- How dare the Congress even consider overriding the 35 states and hundreds of cities and towns that have passed immigration enforcement laws cracking down on illegals, by even considering legislation like S. 1348?

-- Wow, the Senator can read 790 pages in one day!
I don't know anyone that can do that.

Thank you Minuteman! You charged my batteries this early morning!

I used your basic email to write one that I'll submit in another post. Between us, we need to challenge everyone here to pick one of these letters and send it out to those who have aligned with the S.1348 Bill.

    Come on everyone! Mass emailings!!

Just last night my retired mom asked what to say when she called and I said I'd write her out a script. This will be very helpful! I'll post this around too. I'm intrigued about the part of enforcing our existing laws for five years. And I definitely want our border guarded.

Thanks Minuteman! This got added to my letter "ammo" stash. This is a good one. You can bet this one is going to be "littered" amongst senator hatch and bennett's office.

When you pick and choose the talking points you find are most effective, put them in four blocks of text on the back of a "Gogo" list of the President, Cabinet members, Senators, Representatives, Attorneys General, Governors, Mayors, Sheriffs, Congressional staffers and pages, Capitol hairdressers and physical trainers, ...

If they haven't, I tell them they must and I hand them a sheet with the names and numbers to make it really easy for them. Then if they don't, they get what they don't want. If they do, then maybe I've helped another person to get on the train.

Senators leaning NO on final passage but probably leaning YES on CLOTURE (when it counts).

Please do everything you can to get to these Senators. Help them understand what is at stake and where the citizens of your state stand.

If you can't reach the Washington office, calls to a local office count equally toward the total.
One fax counts more than several personal calls.
One personal call counts more than several emails.
One email counts infinitely more than silence.
