Ted Cruz Lied 3 Times, On Camera About His Own Anti-American, Pro-Establishment Push

Quintupling the amount of something that one claims to be opposed to is a unique approach to controlling, reducing or eliminating it, but that is what Ted Cruz did during Senate hearings on the Gang of Eight Amnesty Bill. Cruz not only spoke in favor of an increase in the number of establishment-favorite H-1B visas, he offered an amendment to increase their numbers by five times.

He claims to be pro-American worker but he’s not. This is the very program which Disney, Toys-R-Us, Southern California Edison and many others across the economic spectrum are abusing to gain an indentured slave workforce of non-citizens that can be paid less and whose future is completely under the control of the employer who holds their visa.

The H-1B visa program is designed to fill positions for which there are no available American workers, yet it is being abused, as Disney so vividly exemplifies, to displace America workers, including those holding a position, and even requiring them to train their foreign replacements.

Senator Cruz was acting in service to his establishment masters when he argued in favor of his amendment to flood the marketplace with cheap labor and send Americans to the unemployment lines.

That’s the kind of sellout Ted Cruz is; the kind of establishment Trojan horse who used to claim he was an outsider before his years of service as a member of the Bush extended family came to light and his wife’s efforts to put the United States under a regional government for them became so well known.

On May 14th, 2013, the day following the release of the video arguments for his amendment, Cruz posted the following on his website, emphasis added:

“I strongly support legal immigration. Legal immigration is a fundamental pillar of our nation’s heritage, and I was pleased today to offer legislation that would have improved and expanded legal immigration by dramatically increasing the cap for high-tech temporary worker visas. This amendment would not only improve the current system, but would also encourage economic growth and create new jobs in America.

There is currently a serious shortage of workers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math, yet every year we send thousands of high-tech graduate students back to their home countries to start businesses and create jobs. This makes no sense. I’m disappointed in the committee’s vote to reject expanding high-tech immigration.

Although the Gang of Eight’s bill makes a modest step towards improving high-tech immigration, it does not go nearly far enough. There is no reason to arbitrarily cap high-tech visas at 110,000 when these jobs are going unfilled. We need economic growth here and now.”

Obviously, and as those in search of a job in the STEM fields are aware, his statement is a blatant lie. There is no shortage of qualified workers or they wouldn’t be holding a job which for which they are training a foreign visa replacement. Many are also working at lower paying positions outside of their field because they are being passed over in favor of cheap, malleable foreigners. American workers simply expect to be paid what they’re worth, which conflicts with the employers’ demand for foreign servants.

The establishment employers have the money, so they can afford to hire a Senator to author and argue for a bill or amendment that benefits them at the expense of the American people. That’s how Ted Cruz operates. He also lies, as is illustrated by his comments in the second video that his amendment was “just a poison pill” to Greta Van Susteren. Cruz goes into his “fast talk at the end of the sentence run on into the next” tactic to keep from being pinned down and forced to answer the question he’s dancing around. It’s extremely difficult to get a straight answer from this conversation-monopolizing con artist.

He was lying about the supposed benefits in the Senate, he lied on his website and the he lied to Greta to cover it up. There’s a very good reason why Trump calls him Lyin’ Ted.
