I'm guessing most media sources, especially the liberal ones, really saw no story line here that would further their agenda.

For a junk news source, they are doing pretty well on this. Smell the desperation from JohnDoe2 and MW. It's not real? They got pictures of him boarding and exiting the plane. What part of it do you claim is not real?

So Cruz is answering an Obama "call to unity"? That doesn't bother MW or JohnDoe2? You guys aren't Republicans?

If Cruz is endorsing Clinton, he wouldn't be the first Republican to make such a suggestion. Wasn't it Romney who made similar noises about endorsing Clinton over Trump?

I'm not a Republican, but I posted threats here to vote for Clinton if Cruz won the nomination and I wasn't kidding. I'm still not kidding.

Cruz definitely took the ride on Air Force One. CNN covered the story. I posted that article separately which also states that Rubio rode on Air Force One with Obama on a trip to Florida.

Rubio won't show at the RNC but he'll ride on Air Force One with Obama? REALLY??

Cruz won't endorse our nominee after pledging to do so, but he'll ride on Air Force One with Obama? REALLY??

TEXAS get rid of Cruz in 2018 Republican Primary. Shut him down. End his political career and save the American People from EVER having to see or hear him again.

Ted Cruz and Obama have a lot in common. They both have fathers who were not citizens. Ted Cruz was not even born in the US, although it is pretty clear that Obama was, because that's where his mother was when he was born. (Connect the dots there.) Ted Cruz's indifference to his own US citizenship is what drove a lot of outrage against his candidacy for the Republican nomination, myself included.
That is one view. Their common interest now is their disdain or hatred for Trump. Cruz could have flown back sooner and who else (Rubio) just recently flew on Air Force One to Florida after the Orlando massacre. Doesn't matter much to me, I liked Cruz and supported his platform as a candidate against illegal immigration. His actions at the RNC were despicable and his ride to Dallas could have been nothing more than a conversation about Trump and these guys are high level professionals so big deal. How the hell is anything supposed to get done in this country if the politicians can't even hang out and converse for a couple of hours in a bi-partisan spirit on an airplane or in the oval office like Tip O'Neil and Ronnie.

In the end, Cruz submitted a script to the RNC and ditched it for his own words at the convention. An airplane ride is visual and explainable, an endorsement would have squared Cruz with his pledge and made the flight nothing more than a ride to Dallas on Air Force One. He certainly is not a middle child constantly aiming to please!

Guess anyone can throw anything out there without proof and there will be some who will jump right on it.

We believe, we think, follow the dots, blah, blah, blah. A lot of allegations with almost no substantiated facts.

Our News people here in the states sugar coat there reporting unlike many news agencies in other countries.

EU Times is the European Times.

That pretty much sums up the actual facts. The story by the EU Times was nothing but a bunch of crap created to make a story where there really isn't one. Since the funerals were for Cruz's constituents, he was offered a round trip ride to the funerals and accepted. Anyone that has followed Cruz over the last several years knows this doesn't make him Obama's buddy or a supporter of Hillary Clinton's. I know there a a couple people on here that despise Cruz and will find any excuse (truth or fiction) they can to pile on him, but please don't let hate overcome your ability to reason logically.

Cruz isn't voting for Trump so that leaves the Pro-Choice, FairTax Gary Johnson, the Green Party Jill Stein or Hillary Clinton. Whoever he votes for is his business. But that means he broke the pledge. That means he's not a team player. That means he's upset Texas Republicans and rightly so. I think it means he'll have an amazing Republican opponent vying for his Senate seat and he'll lose the 2018 primary election.

And rightly so in my opinion.

You sign a pledge you're supposed to honor it. That's what a pledge is. Republican candidates who signed the pledge yet won't support or endorse Trump, the choice of the voters by a mile, are not people we can trust in politics. These are people who have lied to US, deceived US, made promises they didn't keep and have no intention of keeping, these are the people who sell US out to open borders, who sell US out to free trade agreements, who line their pockets from Wall Street and Multi-Nationals, Foreign Governments, Foreign Interests and Foreign Nationals. These are small-minded self-centered losers.

When asked who would not sign the pledge in the first debate, only one hand went up, that was Donald Trump's. He was the only honest one on the stage. Later he decided he would sign it and if he had lost he would have supported the nominee. That's honor. But what did all the others do? They kept their hands down, declaring they would sign the pledge, they all signed the pledge, then several of them decided to break the pledge, including Ted Cruz.

His choice. His consequences. Showing up at the Convention to make a speech and not endorse the nominee got him booed off the stage.

    His choice. His consequences.
