Tennessee has an important election in no amnesty fight
Tennessee GOP primary is an important race in the fight against amnesty.
With the defeat of Eric Cantor everybody is watching the Mississippi GOP primary run off election, but there is an equally important GOP primary election on 7 August 2014 in Tennessee. Super RINO Lamar Alexander is being challenged by the Tea Party backed State Rep. Joe Carr. Carr is unequivocally opposed to amnesty.
According to The Tennessean news web page of 16 April 2014, Lamar Alexander’s total fund raising for his Senate race is a whopping $5.86 million, of which $1.8 million has come from special-interest political action committees.
Joe Carr has reported raising only $257,130, bringing his cash on hand to $466,823. He has only raised $14,025 from PACs. Carr’s biggest problem is that fewTennesseevoters know who he is, but almost everyone has heard of Lamar (Boss Hack) Alexander. Naturally Alexander has been running ads claiming to be a “conservative.” According to the knoxvillenews.com of 28 Jan. 2014, Lamar Alexander voted more than any other Southern Republican Senator for legislation Obama wanted in 2012, voting pro Obama 62% of the time. He was a crucial vote that helped pass the infamous “Gang of Eight” amnesty in June of last year. He was one of only 14 Republican Senators to vote for it, with 32 Republicans voting against it.
Of course contributions to Carr’scampaign will improve as more voters learn about him. But will it enough soon enough? The Republican primary election is 7 August. Time is running out. Patriots, please send Carr money so he can get the name recognition he must have to win. Tennesseans contact his campaign HQ and volunteer to help him door to door or get bumper stickers, yard signs.
Lamar Alexander is part of the good old boy RINO elite. His defeat would be an earthquake for the GOP establishment and if McDaniel also won in Mississippi—wow!
Patriots, don’t forget about the Carr campaign in Tennesse.Last edited by csarbww; 06-14-2014 at 10:27 PM.
