    THANK YOU VETERANS

Thank you veterans and soldiers for all you have done for this country. With the sacrifises and suffering you have endured for keeping the peace and safty of this great nation we call home.Somepeople seem to forget what freedom is all about, freedom isnt free somebody had to die for it for us to have it.Soldiers have fought and died for this ways of life we are now enjoy and live today. It really burns me up to see protesters burning the flag of this country that men and women have served under and was proud to do so.Never asking for much and getting little in return for all they have done.
So if you see a veteran or a soldier today tell them THANK YOU.
FROM ONE VETERAN TO YOU OTHER VETERANS AND SOLDIERS OUT THERE I SAY THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE AND GOD BLESS YOU.
    THANK YOU from duckman

My dad is a Vietnam vet and I honor him every day for it. Im going to make a point to call him today and tell him so.

I watched Born on the 4th of July a few nights ago and even tho I had not seen it since I was 19 years old - it shocked me all over again how terrible they were treated upon coming home- not only by our own govt but also by other "Americans". I dont see how the liberal SCUM who spit on them, flipped them off, kicked them out of colleges, etc can stand to live with themselves. I hope they regret their despicable actions until the day they die.

My thanks to all who served, both here and in Canada. In honor of my Dad ( Godspeed, Dad) A WWII vet, this was his favorite conductor:

    http://www.flixxy.com/trumpet-solo-melissa-venema.htm
    UNBELIEVABLY BRILLIANT

The conductor of the orchestra is Andre Rieu from Holland .

The young lady, her trumpet and her rendition of TAPS makes

    your hair stand on end.

Many of you may never have heard taps played in its entirety,

for all of the men and women that have died for you to have the

freedom you have. This is an opportunity you won't

want to miss and I guarantee you'll never forget.

    Amazingly beautiful ..

Melissa Venema, age 13, is the trumpet soloist.

    She is also from Holland.

Here is Taps played in its entirety. The original version of Taps

was called Last Post, and was written by Daniel Butterfield in 1801.

It was rather lengthy and formal, as you will hear in this clip, so in
1862 it was shortened to 24 notes and re-named Taps.

Melissa Venema is playing it on a trumpet whereby the original

    was played on a bugle.

    Watch at this site.
