Trump vows to deport 'millions' of undocumented immigrants as McConnell plans to force vote on border funding

Republicans are accusing Democrats of not wanting President Trump to get a win as the White House ramps up efforts to address the border crisis; Mike Emanuel reports.

President Trump announced Saturday that a planned mass apprehension of illegal immigrants by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is being delayed for two weeks, in the hope that a bipartisan solution to the border crisis can be reached.“At the request of Democrats, I have delayed the Illegal Immigration Removal Process (Deportation) for two weeks to see if the Democrats and Republicans can get together and work out a solution to the Asylum and Loophole problems at the Southern Border,” he tweeted.

“If not, Deportations start!” he added.

I'm not surprised!

We got played again. Some of us had hope, however we are all betrayed again. In my opinion, President Trump has been a terrible president on illegal immigration. Lots of good talk but few results. To even imagine a deal with Democrats, pushed by his open borders son-n-law and no doubt Mike Pence and others, leaves us facing amnesty but not real enforcement once more.

Truthfully, there has been little enforcement or employer raids and millions more have violated our borders since President Trump took office. He has made terrible leadership appointments at DHS, ICE, and elsewhere to get tough and use the laws we have on the books. Open borders sympathies everywhere, Obama holdovers , and agenda driven activists like the LGBT civil servants who are determined to add more carve outs and to fleece taxpayers.


There are so many children here and anchor babies being born that many of us will see the day that we think we live in Mexico in our own city. Some already witness this in their communities. Importing the lowest educated and least skilled with numerous kids is not a plan for a successful future America. Third world citizens and those favoring socialism and liberalism are not compatible with America first.

Many good people think President Trump is really wanting to and trying to stop illegal immigration. Repeatedly trying to work with democrats while he has the power and the tools and laws to do so much to stop the ongoing invasion, leaves many others wondering if he is committed.

He is a total JERK!

They have been "talking" for over two damn years!

DACA is still here!

DAPA is still here!

They are pouring over our border!

Now 4.5 BILLION to diaper and feed more of them...you stink!

President Trump said on Monday evening in a pair of tweets that next week ICE will begin the process of removing millions illegal aliens who have illicitly entered the US.


Now it appears he is walking back on that promise because on Saturday Trump announced he will be delaying the illegal immigration removal process for two weeks at the request of Democrats to see if Congress will work together on a solution to fix the asylum loopholes.



Seriously??



Congress has shown that they care not about fixing the border crisis as hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens have already crossed over into the US this year.

If not, Deportations start!” Trump said on Saturday.



ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) was set to begin raids with court-ordered removals in 10 cities beginning Sunday.
“ICE agents will likely execute predawn raids starting Sunday, targeting as many as 2,000 migrant families facing deportation orders in as many as 10 U.S. cities, including Houston, Chicago, Miami and Los Angeles,” reported the Washington Post.



What is Trump waiting for? Congress has repeatedly refused to stop the flow of illegal immigration. In fact, the Democrats fight harder for illegal aliens than they do for taxpaying American citizens.



Democrats want illegal aliens to flood in because it’s a huge voting bloc that will eventually permanently entrench the Democrat party.

If he's holding off rounding them up, then it appears he thinks they will be given amnesty. Otherwise, why not follow the law and get rid of them?
