'Twas The Night AFTER Elections
Ok, again, so I'm not a poet...but here goes for your viewing amusement....
Twas the night after election
Twas quiet as a mouse,
We had lost not just the Senate
But also the House,
The new Pres. was in
The old Pres. was out
It wasn't a landslide
Not even a rout.
We the People were mum
Was the darkest of night
What could we do?
How could we fight?
Low and behold
Twas our worst fears you see
We had lost everything
We were no longer free
Obama was laughing
He had already won
We had nowhere to hide
We had nowhere to run..
Our money's not ours
Your's no longer to earn
Not Socialist you say?
When will we learn?
Fool me Once shame on you
Fool Me Twice shame on me
How could this happen?
How could this be?
Yes...twas the night after election
We The People Did See
We had voted for "Change"
We'd ignored history.......I call on you in the name of Liberty, of patriotism & everything dear to the American character, to come to our aid...
