The way the media presents the opioid epidemic would make one think that doctors all over the country are writing narcotic prescriptions as fast as they can. The killer is the cheaper heroin, the majority of which comes from Mexico. Perhaps instead of giving the illegals, the majority of which are Mexican, a pass it is time to boot them and their drugs back to Mexico and build that wall.

These politicians show how callus they are and fast they are to look for replacements for our younger generations that they have failed to protect from the Mexican drug predators. JMO

You need to include poultry, beef and pork producers in that boycott as well.

The fact is some doctor's are writing prescriptions willy nilly. Some are just overprescribing and some are selling prescriptions.

This is an epidemic that it shouldn't be hard to stop. These are supposed to be carefully controlled drugs. They should leave a paper trail from producer to purchaser - taking in the wholesaler, doctor and pharmacist. Doesn't seem that hard to me.

As to the heroin coming from Mexico - think farther away.

Hasn't anyone put together the huge uptake in heroin deaths and our invasion of Afghanistan - making it safe for them to grow poppies again.

This is an outrage, but this piece of insanity makes me think they are afraid that Pres. Trump and the American people might be able to mess up their playhouse, so they are going through the backdoor.

These employers are liars, these members of Congress are traitors. Trump will veto this bill if such a treason ever passes both houses. These people are so disconnected from the American Worker, they have no idea who is available, what they know how to do, how hard and smart they will work, how much more they will get done, to even consider foreign workers for these jobs instead of Americans shows the depth of the depravity and ignorance we were hoping was on its way out of this country, not foaming out of the closets of the US Congress. It is completely disgusting that such a bill would have any co-sponsors let alone 50.

The American people are being totally bambozzled about so many things - drugs is just one of them.
We are being presented with the scenario we are supposed to believe and sadly we just accept it all too often.

I don't know the truth - or all of it. One thing I do know for sure, we aren't going to get it from our government, the news media, or other 'experts'. We are going to get what they want us to believe.

Before you accept any government, or 'expert' view on something really give it some thought.

We have this illegal travesty because the experts wrote papers, the government lied and media lied for many, many years.

For many years, the media pretending there were no illegals. When they had to, they printed 'expert' reports of how much they added to the economy, they paid in more taxes than they cost the taxpayers, they were just hardworking family people, they weren't getting benefits.

There was a large part of this country that had no or just a few illegals, they believed the media. They believed the people from borders states were just racists and had lost their jobs because they were lazy.

They carried the water for the government and media - until the flood hit their town.

Think about it, some are still using the figure of 11 million. This is the same figure they used when Pres. Bush was first elected. One of two things there - we are making citizens of as many as are coming across the border, or someone is lying.
