    Vetting Rand Paul

Rand Paul must not become the Republican Party’s presidential nominee. Too many “conservatives” fawn over that guy as if he were a great freedom fighter.

We really need to draw a line in the sand; not giving amnesty is the watershed issue. You can not be a conservative and also be for amnesty or vacillate on it—period. All illegal aliens must first leave the country and then the border secured behind them. That is the only strategy what would guarantee effective immigration control, and Rand Paul rejects those proposals. Of course, once you reject that, what is left? AMNESTY. His desire for amnesty was exposed by his caustic remarks against those who have the impudence to want that illegal aliens leave our homeland. He said, “They (illegal aliens) are not going home.” So then, why is that Mr. Paul? Is it because, even though it is the current law, politicians like you will not even consider legislation to require enforcing the law? He also sarcastically stated, “What would they (citizens who want illegal aliens to go home) have us do, put them in concentration camps…?”

Come off it Randy. Of course there are humane ways to implement deportation. Either Rand is inexcusably ignorant on that subject, e.g. “turn off the magnet,” or he wants to pretend that there are no alternatives to legalization (a.k.a. amnesty).

His “Trust but Verify” is unenforceable nonsense, and like all amnesty peddlers he refuses to call his amnesty, “amnesty;” furthermore, he insists on tying border security to amnesty. There is no reason why border security must be tied to any other legislation.

The conservative philosophy and support for amnesty are irreconcilable and contrary concepts; one nullifies the other, either you are not a conservative and for amnesty, or you are a conservative and therefore against amnesty. You can not be both a conservative and for amnesty

Glen Beck, Michelle Bachman, Mark Levin, Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham, Michael Savage and others have warned us that amnesty for illegal aliens (a.k.a. “legal status”) will destroy the conservative movement and forever end any possibility to stop the Marxist control of our government.

Amnesty is political suicide for patriots. Any politician who does not acknowledge that is not to be entrusted with power no matter what other issues he may promote – period.

We must persuade naive “conservatives” that no amnesty for illegal aliens is not an issue where there can be compromise (half way policies). If others can be uncompromising on abortion or gun control (both of which Rand Paul is very strong in opposing) we must insist that they support us on unequivocal opposition to the illegal alien invasion and amnesty. We must put them on notice that they must stop working at cross purposes to us by supporting one politician after another who works for their pet issue but equivocates or even makes excuses for amnesty, otherwise there will be a bloody street brawl within the conservative movement.

Rand Paul must unequivocally state that he wants all illegal aliens out of our country and total border security or we must fight to take him down and achieve the nomination of a politician who is determined to stop the illegal alien invasion.

Rand Paul is not the guy we need, and hopefully it will become clear during the primary that he's not the guy our party wants.

Just a small demurer: we can secure the border by turning off the jobs magnet. Universal E-Verify would accomplish that, for pennies on the enforcement dollar.

Illegals may be uneducated people, but they are not stupid. They sneak into our country, because they know that our government will not actually prevent them from taking jobs from Americans.

It is in the hands of we, the voters, or it must be in the hands of we, the militia organized for defense of the Constitution! It now is that simple.
