WARNING: Democrats Registering Illegals To Vote! Romney asks Va. to probe voter forms

    By: Wesley P. Hester | Richmond Times-Dispatch
    Published: July 25, 2012

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's campaign is asking Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli to launch an investigation into voter-registration forms that are being sent to Virginia residents and addressed to deceased relatives, children, family pets and others ineligible to vote.

The errant mailings from the Washington-based nonprofit group Voter Participation Center have befuddled many Virginia residents, leading to hundreds of complaints.

The organization has been mass-mailing the forms — pre-populated with key information such as names and addresses — to primarily Democratic-leaning voting blocs such as young adults, unmarried women, African-Americans and Latinos.

In a letter to Cuccinelli's office and the State Board of Elections, Kathryn Bieber, an attorney for the Romney campaign, calls for an investigation into the matter by law-enforcement officials, claiming that the mailings appear to violate "at least one and maybe several Virginia laws aimed at ensuring a fair election."

Bieber refers to the mailings as "tactics that amount to, or at the very least induce, voter registration fraud," and says the issue "presents a very significant risk to the proper administration of the upcoming general election."

Citing a Sunday Richmond Times-Dispatch story that brought the mailings to light, the letter also asks the State Board of Elections to require registrars to reject all pre-populated voter registration applications from the group and review the eligibility of all Virginians who have registered in the past two months.

"This is the only way for voters and other interested parties to regain confidence in the voter registration and electoral process that has been abused by the Voter Participation Center," the letter says.

Page Gardner, president and CEO of the Voter Participation Center, said the organization mailed nearly 200,000 third-party registration forms to Virginia addresses in June, which resulted in 15,026 new voters being registered as of July 18.

On Monday, the Voter Participation Center responded to the Sunday Times-Dispatch story, stating in a letter on its website that "imperfections in the VPC vendors' lists — while regrettable and unfortunate — should not be the reason or the excuse to call an entire process that is working into question."

Justin Riemer, the State Board of Elections' deputy secretary, said forms have been sent by the group to deceased infants, out-of-state family members, and non-U.S. citizens, among others.

In a letter this month, the State Board of Elections asked the group to cease pre-populating their forms and raised questions about how the group was obtaining lists of registered voters, citing the errant forms.

Riemer noted that pre-populating the forms violates rules set forth in the state code and the Virginia Constitution requiring that voters fill out their own forms.

The State Board of Elections had not received the letter from the Romney campaign Tuesday afternoon and declined to comment on the specifics.

No comment was immediately available from Cuccinelli's office.

Asked for comment on the Romney campaign's letter, the Voter Participation Center issued a statement noting that their forms are official applications, not registration cards.

"Furthermore, they were approved before we sent them out by the State Board of Elections and are the same applications that anyone can access at a local government office or on the internet," the statement read. "Our process is legal and working."

These groups and the Obama campaign are not using voter files to target these illegal aliens, deceased residents, and kids.

They are using DATA MINING. Computerized records from other sources that tell them the names and characteristics of people in households.

They are trying to get people to register that they are targeting based off of other data and by doing so are clearly going after illegal immigrants along with the dead.

Dems Caught Trying to Register Deceased Voters and Pets!

The following is just one example of why there is a need to have voter ID laws. Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli is being asked by the Romney campaign to look into voter-registration forms that are being sent out to residents in Virginia and addressed to deceased relatives, children, family pets and others that are ineligible to vote. Haven’t we heard this before?

Hundreds of complaints have been filed in regards to the nonprofit group Voter Participation Center’s errant mailings to primarily Demcorat leaning voting blocs. It does cause one to wonder if the IRS will be looking into the nonprofit status of this Washington-based organization now, doesn’t it?

Hundreds of complaints have been filed in regards to the nonprofit group Voter Participation Center’s errant mailings to primarily Demcorat leaning voting blocs. It does cause one to wonder if the IRS will be looking into the nonprofit status of this Washington-based organization now, doesn’t it?

    The Richmond-Times Dispatch reports,

The organization has been mass-mailing the forms — pre-populated with key information such as names and addresses — to primarily Democratic-leaning voting blocs such as young adults, unmarried women, African-Americans and Latinos.

In a letter to Cuccinelli’s office and the State Board of Elections, Kathryn Bieber, an attorney for the Romney campaign, calls for an investigation into the matter by law-enforcement officials, claiming that the mailings appear to violate “at least one and maybe several Virginia laws aimed at ensuring a fair election.”

Bieber refers to the mailings as “tactics that amount to, or at the very least induce, voter registration fraud,” and says the issue “presents a very significant risk to the proper administration of the upcoming general election.”

The President and CEO of the Voter Participation Center, Page Gardner, said that the organization mailed out close to 200,000 registration forms to Virginia addresses in June. Their numbers reflected 15,026 new voters being registered as of July 18.

On Monday the Voter Participation Center responded to the story on their website stating:

But this crisis in our democracy and the efforts to close this gap have been obscured and demeaned by stories on the process and the mailing list- a steady drip, drip, drip of stories focused on the miniscule amount of mail sent to a pet or a deceased person because of flaws in the list. The latest story in The Richmond Times Dispatch is a perfect example of the disservice these kinds of story do to civic engagement efforts like ours designed to make it more convenient for unregistered Virginians to vote.

The article gives some a platform to raise the specter of “voter fraud.” The assertion made in the story that mailings of voter registration applications “can create opportunities for voter fraud” is just wrong. No matter the source of the registration applications – the local DMV office or the Voter Participation Center — it’s up to an individual to complete the form and follow the state law; it is then up to the local election officials to vet the application – – if and when the form is turned in.

Imperfections in the VPC vendors’ lists – while regrettable and unfortunate – should not be the reason or the excuse to call an entire process that is working into question. There are clearly issues with commercial data files such as the ones VPC vendors use. However, there are highly significant mistakes in voter files as well. According to a report from the Pew Center on the States, approximately 24 million—one of every eight—voter registrations in the United States are no longer valid or are significantly inaccurate – meaning there are 24 million names on state voter files that shouldn’t be. Add to that the fact that the Social Security Administration has just admitted they did not record 1.2 million dead people on the national Master Death File, which is part of why the deceased continue to receive mail and are still on state voter files. No process is perfect but that should not deter us from doing all that we can to make sure that as many eligible American citizens are registered and vote.

The problem in the response is that they claim that people have to fill out the forms and then follow state law. OK, I agree. But then it shifts the blame to everyone else rather than the organization that sends out voter registrations to dead animals and dead people! The VPC should be taking responsibility for its error, not putting the blame on others. The article is exactly right in pointing out that the potential for fraud, whether purposeful or not is there, but the VPC doesn’t want to accept the blame for their part in it. They have just as much a responsibility to mail to only eligible voters as the voters do to follow state law.

The curious thing is that Democrats never raise these issues do they? They never point out fraudulent registration forms being sent to people. In fact, in many cases they are willing to defend it claiming that people have the right to vote. Yes they do, but not ineligible voters!

We can rest assured that the Obama campaign and Democrats in general love the fact that they have a ‘sixth sense’ working on their side. “I see dead people and Pets voting” should be their new slogan.

Obama Campaign Needs More Time for Voter Fraud in Ohio
posted on July 25, 2012 by da Tagliare

Ohio has long been a key swing state in presidential elections. Since 1964, no one has won the general election without carrying the state of Ohio. In this year’s hotly contested presidential election, Ohio holds 18 electoral votes. Only California (55), Illinois (20), Florida (29), New York (29) Texas (3 and Pennsylvania (20) carry more electoral votes than Ohio.

In years past, Ohio, along with 31 other states, have allowed voters to vote early by mail or in person. In Ohio’s case, they have allowed voting to take place during the three days prior to the general election.

However, with a Republican governor, Ohio has passed a new law restricting the voting to the day of the election, except for absentee mail in ballots. With the Democratic slogan of ‘vote early and vote more often’, it’s no wonder that the Obama campaign has filed a lawsuit with Ohio’s election officials claiming that the new law unfairly discriminates against voters who want to vote early. They cite the fact that military and overseas voters are still allowed to cast their votes on the day before the election.

In the past couple of years, Ohio Democrats have done their best to block voter ID laws and have even tried to push through a bill that would eliminate the need of having an address in order to register to vote. By not having an address and being able to vote for 4 days, imagine the ‘vote early and vote more often’ opportunities available for dishonest voters. When I heard the Dems pushing for this law, it reminded me of the old ballot stuffing days in Chicago. Say, isn’t that where Barack Obama is from?

Democrats need as many voting days as possible so that more dead dogs, people and illegal aliens can vote to help counter the military votes. Even though Oho only has two military bases – the Integrated Support Cleveland base operated by the U.S. Coast Guard and Wright-Patterson A.F.B.), the military vote could be enough to make the difference come November. Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is the largest military base on U.S. land.

According the last Gallup Poll taken in May, 24% more veterans favored Mitt Romney over Barack Obama. With Wright-Patterson A.F.B. covering two counties in this important swing state and being the largest military base on U.S. soil, the Democrats are desperate to take any measure possible, legal or illegal, to get Obama re-elected.

Is it just me or does anyone else here hope this is true and reaches the Supreme Court? Because if that were to happen, the media will not be able to wiggle itself out of covering it and thus would be the last nail in the coffin for Obama's re-election hopes. Sometimes I wish our politicians are not being corrupt, but at times I also of wish it is indeed happening and that it is discovered so that the American people can finally wake up and vote these two parties out of existence.

Yep without the voter fraud Obama does not have a chance of being re elected and he knows it, right now for him it is all about illegals and the dead and keeping the voter ID laws at bay.
