No discussion of who pays for the wall. They did discuss wall says Trump.

Trump said in response to question about who pays for the wall, that this was a preliminary meeting and who pays for the wall will be discussed in future meetings.

I thought this went very very well, smooth as silk, and I really like many of the comments by the President of Mexico. It seemed very clear that he understands the problems we have in the US with the costs and burdens of illegal immigration as well as the job loss due to NAFTA. I was very pleased when he initiated in his comments which came before Trump's that NAFTA is 22 years old and requires renegotiation. I thought that was a huge victory for Trump on both issues.

Details on solutions like who pays for the wall were not discussed, but I heard "sharing" word from the Mexican President with regards to securing the border, so I think that's a willingness to pay something for the wall, and now that's on tape around the world.

I thought it was a great victory for Trump.

Trump was first to Louisiana and now first to Mexico. Early bird gets the worm.

The Mexican President also said in one of his answers to a press question that there had been confusion and misperception about some statements obviously referring to the MEDIA PILE ON about Trump's statements about illegal aliens from Mexico, and implying the statements applied to all Mexicans, which was completely wrong, wrong on every level, basically outright LIES about what Trump actually said and who he was talking about.

LOL!!! The President of Mexico just cooked his own goose. He tweeted "At the beginning of the conversation, I told him Mexico was not paying for the wall." Well, good to know. That means you won't pay for it directly, fine, then you'll pay for it indirectly, which is fine with US, we'll just deduct it from remittances, that way we don't have to wait for a check.

I'm sure Trump will have some tweets of his own for you, Pena.

We can't trust the Mexicans in Mexico when it comes to immigration, trade, border security, or drugs. The drug cartels own the Mexican government, despite all their protestations to the contrary. The drug cartels pay the smugglers to run illegal aliens into our country so they can run the drug trade here and haul out the money. Anyone who supports this illegal immigration, amnesty, legalization, etc., etc., is either really, really stupid or on the take with the drug cartels.
