    What the hell happened to the Republican party?

    They used to be on the side of the country most of the time, but lately, what the hell shifted them to abandon reason?

    Our party was infiltrated by Traitors.

    We need to call ... RotoRooter.

    Say what you will, but bear in mind - a lot of those Republicans saved our butts today. Of course they had a little help (the American people). Furthermore, it was Republicans that saved us during the last amnesty attempt too (S. 2611).

    I think Bush is the real problem! Of course it would help if a few of the old guard like McCain and Specter bailed out.

    This is indeed is a very sad time for the Republican Party. I have been a long life Republican but President Bush (yes I still have respect fro the office!) has really done a lot of damage to the party. The total ineptness and mishandling of the war on the Muslim Terrorists and this inexcusable support for amnesty has brought the one mighty elephant to its knees. 2008 will be quite interesting to say the least!

    Yes, I thank God for those reps who stood for Americans! The dems too, even though the majority are for amnesty!
    Traitors on both sides...hopefully we will remember the bad traitors (don't deserve to be called senators) and TERMINATE THEIR POSITION in this government! FIRE THEM!!!!!!!!
    Please help save America for our children and grandchildren... they are counting on us. THEY DESERVE the goodness of AMERICA not to be given to those who are stealing our children's future! ... and a congress who works for THEM!

    Oh yes, you are quite right MW ... and I for one will never forget who did what when or for why!

    Our GOP Elephant assures the world .. that we never forget .. anything. And as to the forgiving part .. well ... I think that just depends on how quickly they start enforcing the law and removing illegal aliens from our midst. Redemption or RotoRooter ... it's their choice.

    Patriots and globalists

    Republican, Democrat; conservative, progressive; powerful elites, middle class, and poverty; none of the old divisions matter in today's international issues.

    The division that matters today has on the one hand patriots:
    those who stand up for
    America, the U.S. Constitution, and the American people;
    American institutions such as the family, the church, the military, the Boy Scouts, the American Legion; and
    American values, the pioneer spirit, an honest day's work for an honest day's pay and getting ahead by work rather than by deceit, looking out for the neighborhood and the neighbors' kids, caring for the old and the invalids, integrity without hypocrisy and moral courage instead of political correctness, loving one another and doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.

    On the other hand are globalists:
    those who consider themselves citizens of the world rather than of just one country;
    who view the United States as a geopolitical construct that is on the decline and soon to expire;
    who look to the UN or the EU or multinational entities for their political identity;
    who consider American citizenship no big deal and count non-Americans on the same terms as American citizens;
    who grant little merit to American values and perhaps see them as quaint, old-fashioned, primitive, or provincial; and
    who see Christianity and America's Christian heritage as having equal significance to Hinduism in India or Islam in Saudi Arabia.

    When counting the costs and numbering the troops for battle over:
    a one world government, the New World Order, the North American Union and the SPP;
    Agenda21, Sustainable Development, and Smart Growth;
    the national debt, the Federal Reserve, and the International Monetary Fund;
    global warming, Kyoto Protocol, and L.O.S.T.;
    the United Nations and the International Criminal Court;
    along with a host of other international issues,

    "patriots and globalists" define ideological lines more than do "conservatives and progressives" or "old guard and new blood."
    One man's terrorist is another man's undocumented worker.

    Unless we enforce laws against illegal aliens today,
    tomorrow WE may wake up as illegals.

    The last word: illegal aliens are ILLEGAL!
