    What Are We Importing Exactly?

    What Are We Importing Exactly?
    Have you heard of Colonias?

If you want to know where billions of your tax dollars are going. Google Colonias and read about the settlements being funded by our government along the Mexican border. The objective appears to be to erase the border and provide Mexicans with complete cities along a 150 mile front on our southern border. The definition of a clonia could very well apply to settlements that our native Americans occupy or poor settlements through out the south and particularly in Appalachia. This misuse of government funding to support the illegal alien invasion and destroy our border should be a major topic in the presidential campaign.
How can a nation with a $10 trillion debt afford to build complete cities with infrastructures and complete welfare systems for foreign populations and ignore the needs of its citizens?
Can you demand relief from our corrupt candidates for president or at least from our state and local representatives who complain they are strapped for cash. The federal government can not support the colonias and not our own cities and states.
Other sites you may be interested in are easily found on the internet. The Texas program is under the Texas Secretary of State and is called the: Texas Border and Mexican Affairs Section
You can learn more about the Colonias here.

So, US taxpayers are going to fund the foreign colonization of American territory? Since a lot of this has to come through Housing and Urban development I found this page on the HUD website:

I saw only one hopeful piece of legislation passed and signed into law by Texas' last three governors that would help control this.
SB 425 Texas Government Code, Chapter 775
Texas Local Government Code, Chapters 212 and 232
Texas Utilities Code, Chapters 37 and 54
Texas Water Code, Chapters 16 and 17

    Author: Hinojosa
    Sponsor: Luna, Seaman
Signed by Governor Rick Perry on June 17, 2005

    Bill Analysis

Amends the Local Government, Government and Water Codes so that a county that is located within 100 miles of an international border containing a city with a population of more than 250,000 can:

a.prevent future substandard residential subdivisions from developing
b.receive the assistance of the SOS Colonia Ombudsman Program
    c. be eligible for EDAP Funds

Wow, this is a tough issue. Don't know what else to say at this point. I hope you can keep after the issue.
