White House now faults Republicans for weak border security
White House now faults Republicans for weak border security
Posted on 24 June, 2014 by clyde
After previously saying America’s borders are more secure than ever, the White House on Tuesday seemingly blamed Republicans for apparent holes along the southern boundary, evidenced by the flood of unaccompanied children streaming into the U.S. from Mexico, Central America and elsewhere.
White House press secretary Josh Earnest challenged Republicans, if they are truly concerned about border security, to back the comprehensive immigration reform package that passed the Senate last year and is strongly supported by President Obama.
“If we really wanted to solve this problem, one good way to do it is for those Republicans to get on board … and support common sense immigration reform,” Mr. Earnest told reporters.
Mr. Earnest also said the administration has made a “historic commitment” to border security over the past five years, but the White House last week announced a new surge of resources to combat the stream of illegal immigrants.

What is sensible about flooding this country with another wave of illegal aliens?
Let's be honest, both major parties are not only willing to sell out American interests, they are positively eager to do so. Demos want to legalize all those Undocumented Democrats, and Repubs want to appease their big-money donors by supplying them with even more surplus labor.

So its Reps fault for not granting mass Amnesty w/o any real protections. So apparently if we rewarded these illegal aliens the new wave would have been happy staying home? I must be getting to old because that *liberal logic* makes no sense what so ever to me.
