WHO KNEW? OBAMA MOST DIVISIVE PRESIDENT IN HISTORY

Gallup: Barack Obama the Most Divisive President in History In 2008

Obama’s first, second, third, and fourth years in office were the most polarized for any president’s first, second, third, or fourth years,” Gallup found. “However, the 71-point party gap in ratings of Obama’s job approval during his fifth year in office is slightly less than the 72-point gap found in Bush’s fifth year.”
Barack Obama campaigned on being the one who would transcend partisan and ideological divides and unite people across the aisle for common cause.

Campaigning and governing are two very different things, however, and Obama’s five years in office have been characterized by nothing but petty partisanship and hard-line devotion to his liberal ideology.

A new Gallup poll shows that Americans are more divided now than just about any other time in the poll’s history.

Via US News and World Report:

During Obama’s fifth year in office, 82 percent of Democrats and just 11 percent of Republicans approved of the job he was doing, marking a 71 percent partisan gap, according to a Gallup polling analysis released Thursday. That’s the fourth most polarizing year in Gallup’s records, but down from the 76 percent gap during his fourth year – also his re-election year – which is typically a president’s most polarizing.

Jeffrey Jones, a polling analyst with Gallup, noted just how historically unique Obama’s numbers are in terms of political polarization:
“Obama is on course to have the most politically polarized approval ratings of any president, with an average 69-point gap during his presidency, a full eight points higher than was the case with Bush,” he said in a memo accompanying the polling analysis. “Each year since 2004, the average party gap in presidential job approval has been 60 percentage points or greater. The only other two years with that degree of polarization were Ronald Reagan’s and Bill Clinton’s re-election years.”

The Washington Examiner gives this analysis of the poll:
“Obama’s first, second, third, and fourth years in office were the most polarized for any president’s first, second, third, or fourth years,” Gallup found. “However, the 71-point party gap in ratings of Obama’s job approval during his fifth year in office is slightly less than the 72-point gap found in Bush’s fifth year.”

For the editorial board at the Examiner, there are two major reasons that Obama is such a polarizing figure: His undying devotion to Obamacare and his focus on one issue that isn’t high on Americans’ list of priorities:
First, the president is refusing to be reasonable or realistic about Obamacare, which is proving a bigger train wreck than anyone could have imagined. For him, and his Democratic congressional allies, it’s full-speed ahead and damn those obstructionist Republicans for putting up legislative obstacles, either in the form of bills passed by the House or GOP senators offering amendments and insisting on open debate and recorded votes in an election year. [...]

Second, Obama is determined to focus on an issue that ranks near the bottom of concerns for the vast majority of Americans. Two-thirds of Americans say the country is headed in the wrong direction and half say getting the economy moving again is the most important issue, according to the latest Fox News poll. Only 13 percent of those surveyed pointed to income inequality as the country’s most important issue despite the fact Obama has made it the top priority of his second term.

Obama’s desire to shove his healthcare law down our throats is a huge reason that Americans find him so polarizing. Of course, clueless Democrats, who probably either work for the government and don’t have to worry about having their healthcare plans touched or are members of the labor unions which the president is so conveniently exempting from Obamacare, think “free” healthcare is wonderful. Those of us in the GOP who work in the private sector and have been affected by Obamacare by losing our insurance, having our premiums go up, or suffering from the employment-related ramifications of the law know what an absolute disaster it is.

On income inequality, not only do normal Americans not care about income inequality, but they see Obama’s hypocrisy on the issue as he wastes millions of vacation flights each year and luxurious hotel stays while ranting and raving about how the 1% keep doing better while the rest of us are suffering. Leftism thrives on antipathy towards those of us who have worked hard and have a good life. Obama knows this, and he’s trying to foster as much envy-based class warfare as possible to further his agenda. Sickening.

    Let’s flashback to WWII.

American productivity in the face of the great threat and peril of the axis powers was remarkable.

During the 3 1/2 years of U.S. involvement, here’s what we manufactured:

8 battleships, 22 aircraft carriers, 48 cruisers, 349 destroyers, 420 destroyer escorts, 203 submarines, 4 million tons of merchant ships, 100,000 fighters, 98,000 bombers, 24,000 transport aircraft, 58,00 training aircraft, 93,000 tanks, 257000 artillery pieces 105000 mortarts, 3,000,000 machine guns, 2.5 mil military trucks 16.1 miullion men in uniform, and we developed the atomic bomb.

During this same period of time, three and a half years, it should be noted that Obama couldn’t put together a functioning website,” Neal Boortz commented.

Consider the population was less then half what it is today and I doubt we could produce the same results today because we lack the craftsmen and the manufacturing plants to do the job, they have all moved to third world countries. Too many greedy CEO's and politicians along with this last administration has harmed are country too a degree if we survive it will take years to rebuild.
I'm old with many opinions few solutions.
