WHY ISN'T OUR LAW INFORCEMENT BANNING TOGETHER AGAINST THIS

law enforcement all over America should be banning together to send
Washington a message conerning this immigration problem. i'm tired of seeing illegal aliens standing on every gas station in crowds and law enforcement officers do nothing, when it's very obvious that these people are illegal. i'm sick of political correctness. law enforcement needs to step up and "protect and serve" this nation now and stop waiting for Washington because it's obvious what the government wants to do. how could you be a law enforement officer and see the obvious everyday and do nothing but harrass real Americans for speeding or jay walking etc., when you know our government is constantly importing more and more illegals (criminals) making your job that much tougher to do? how could you? you are our protection and yet you stand silent as a whole, where's your outrage and passion for your country and fellow Americans. we are being murdered everyday by illegal enemies and our government(they're just as guilty and have blood on their hands), if you don't put a stop to this soon, we'll be in a civil war. man up, and represent law abiding citizens; is that too much to ask from our so called "finest"?! !

From my perspective, it isn't that the police are unwilling to do their jobs; but rather that the politicians will not allow the police to do their jobs. It is the politicians who created sanctuary cities, hands off the illegals, and Special Order 40 type policies. Also, in the situation you mention at the gas stations if the police were to do something about the illegal aliens then the ACLU would probably sue both the city and the police officers for violating the civil rights of the illegals (even if the illegals were not legally supposed to be there). However, the ACLU would have little concern about the civil rights of school girls walking by and being harassed by the illegal aliens. It seems the ACLU and other extreme left-leaning groups (called secular progressives by O'Reilly) have categorized and ranked groups according to how much freedom and protection a group should have. Illegal Aliens are at the top of the list and junior-high school girls are somewhat lower.

You do have a very valid point in that the police could and should, IMO, speak out through their unions and other organizations and make it well know how safety and the quality of life is deteriorating in their cities and that they are not allowed to serve and protect those who pay their salaries. But, that would be considered politically incorrect in our society because illegal aliens fall under the umbrella of political correctness. I.e., you can and are encouraged to say positive things about illegal aliens however untrue those things may be; but, you can't say anything negative regardless of how true it is. I'm tired of political correctness too. We need to throw it out and go back to a more enlightened time when the search for truth and objectivity took precedence.

    Bluehills: exactly

Political will stands behind every move in our country. It put a man on the moon and the heaviest guarded border in the world between South and North Korea.

There is no political will to enforce immigration law because politicians pander to Hispanics and big business.

If US citizens all took to the streets in a mass protest, it might change political will.

And it would have to be one hell of a protest at that! Tens of millions of us!
