The deal is that Mexico gets to unload its least productive citizens and increase remittances of American dollars to Mexico. In May 2006, Fox traveled to Washington state and made speeches to a horde of illegal immigrants telling them that the US must provide legal status for them. How would an American president be received going around Mexico advocating that we send the dregs of our society to settle there, rob them of jobs, hospitalization, social services, education...?

I agree with everything you said...Our whole Congress is corrupt for allowing this to happen to our country... The two presidential candidates that are running for president, both will continue with the corruption.

Mexico is allowed to GET AWAY with interfering in OUR nation's domestic affairs because our leaders are NOT REAL Americans and HAVEN'T been for a LONG time!

Unfortunately, neither of the 3 (if you include Hillary) presidential candidates are willing to get tough with illegal aliens, and therein lies the problem. The majority of US citizens are very much in favor of enforcing immigration laws, but most politicians ignore this. The NY Times and our "local" rag Newsday are running a relentless editorial policy condemning those who are trying to make hiring illegals punishable. And within the articles themselves is an enormous bias. When an illegal alien rapes, kills, steals-both papers avoid mentioning the illegal status of the suspect. So the media is very much the problem.

It is not a liberal-conservative split either. Here in Suffolk Co Long Island, it is Democrats Steve Levy and Brian Beedenbender who are the objects of a vitriolic hate campaign waged by so-called immigration advocates-mainly Catholic nuns and the business groups that claim, falsely, that they can't find workers. The reason? Levy and Beedenbender have created-and gotten passed- legislation that prohibits the hiring of illegal immigrants to work on county ( ie, taxpayer-funded) projects. Levy has been a thorn in the side of the Bush Administration since he has sent bills to Bush for the expense incurred by the illegals-the vast majority of whom are from Latin American countries.

Both the Teddy Kennedy's and the Jeb Bush's are salivating over the prospect of winning milllions of votes from newly minted Spanish speaking "citizens". We cannot let this happen! The percentage of illegal vs legal immigrants is up sharply since the idiot in the White House took office-and we ordinary people are going to pay dearly if we don't act now to put a stop to this.

Bush's brother Jeb is married to a Mexican woman. I have no idea when and if her family migrated here legally because its kept quiet. Also I have read news articles on Jeb Bush's daughter being married to an illegal Mexican an that she is a drug addict. Maybe that is one reason why we are so cozy with Mexico.

I have also heard that "deals" were made between the Clinton, elder Bush, and present Bush administrations.

It is true that things have gotten so much worse since this President took office. The trickle began in the 70's, then after the 80's amnesty, the floodgates were open. It is out of control now and out in the open.

At first it was the poor and criminals, now we have highly educated people coming here and working.

One thing that concerns me is the number moving into smaller towns where there, seemingly, is no work for them. Our little town, less than 3,000 and fairly isolated, has little or no employment. The biggest income is government, either some kind of government employment, SS or welfare.

About 3 years ago, there were maybe 4 or 5 illegal families here, mostly ranch workers. This past weekend I had a yard sale, and about two dozen families came. They were all very well dressed, driving new SUV's or pickups.

Where are these people working? Could our government, or Mexico's government be supporting people to move all over this country? If they get amnesty and the vote, do they want them in every little town, city and state in order to influence the election?

Or if we wanted to go to the dark side, could it be something much worse?

My we do need a change. Bush is got his head up president of mexicos azzz, that he dont even want to know what the heck is going on here.

Also, our current President was practically raised by an illegal alien. He helped her become legal right around the time he entered the White House.

Well to start with we would all be automaticly labled as racists even by other whites.
