I am also an optimist. Still, from an ideological stand point, Obama and McCain are not that different, from political stand point having McCain with and (R) next to his name will give the amnesty bill a bi-partisan label. I would hate to see that happen because it will split the Republican base. Many like Hannity will push for it just because it is a Republican like Gulianni is pushing it. It will be easier muster opposition from talk radio if a Dem is in the White House. Good old obstructionism.

This is just a worst case scenario which I will promote in case of an "emergency" (McCain or Gulianni presidency).

Oh, dear, I didn't mean what you think - or what I think you think.

I'll change that one in case others get the wrong idea.

My opinion, the victory will be achieved through economic means - as in using our money as our weapon.

We are giving employers money to hire illegals and pay polticians to sell out this country. Unless and until we realize that our money is the answer, we will be fighting a semi, anyway, loosing battle.

While this is about giving up America's sovereignty - greed is driving it. That greed is being fed by our money.

Please, the rest are just corrupt politicians - I think this man is much, much more.
I totally agree. To me, Obama is the scariest of all. Here in NH you should see some of these people. It is like thet are on drugs or hypnotyzed by him. It is very very scary. You are not allowed to bring up any FACTS about him. Even the Clintons make their people quit or apologize for bringing up the TRUTH. I do not understand it is as though peole have been brainwashed.

I wish people could see it before the rhetoric of 'he's better than' and "I'd vote for him before'.

Just my opinion, but he is the very last one of the entire field - both sides that should be getting our votes.

With Obama "Change" is everything. Just look at his slogans. He doesn't really spell out what that means. I suspect it will be mostly more globalism. It means more crooks, whiners and flakes will advance, as long as they can meet a politically correct litmus test.

I don't get it. Does anyone else remember a charismatic young man taliking about change? I do-Bill Clinton. With him you got NAFTA, GATT, globalism. "Free" trade with China and no action on illegals. He signed in Executive order 13166? Remember that? That has only added to the illegal invasion.

I do not understand this infatuation with Obama-here in NH it is beyond disgusting-it is like watching brainwashed people walk around.

Obama doesn't seem to need any real platform - he has the media - and others. My goodness, he even has Oprah.

I'd say that pretty much sums it up. I might have to retreat to a cave if he wins.

Yet the guy is hollow , theres nothing there , no record , no experience
But we do know he has socialist leanings to the left of Hillary and is
very much for open borders and amnesty

I've been watching this carp for weeks now and nobody has
pinned down any of the dems and made them talk about
    their solutions to illegal immigration
