Wikileaks releases excerpts of Hillary’s paid speech transcripts

Wikileaks releases excerpts of Hillary’s paid speech transcripts

Hacked e-mails show Hillary Clinton’s campaign was concerned that remarks she made in paid speeches to Wall Street firms behind closed doors would become public and used against her by political opponents.

Excerpts of her speeches, contained in e-mails sent to campaign chairman John Podesta and leaked Friday by Wikileaks, show Clinton promoting herself as a proponent of free trade.

“My dream is a hemispheric common market, with open trade and open borders,” Clinton is quoted as telling a Brazilian Bank in 2013.

“We have to resist, protectionism, other kinds of barriers to market access and to trade.”

Candidate Clinton opposes the Trans-Pacific Partnership — which she backed as secretary of state.

Clinton campaign research director Tony Carrk was so worried about the political impact if the speeches ever came out that he sent Podesta some possible damaging headlines.

“CLINTON ADMITS SHE IS OUT OF TOUCH,” “CLINTON SAYS YOU NEED TO HAVE A PRIVATE AND PUBLIC POSITION ON POLICY,” and “CLINTON REMARKS ARE PRO KEYSTONE AND PRO TRADE,” he warned in a January 2016 e-mail.

Clinton was paid up to $225,000 per speech and earned more than $3 million from financial firms.

Wikileaks Dump: Hillary Dreams of ‘Open Trade and Open Borders’

In excerpts from paid speeches, Clinton admits to taking different public and private positions

by Jim Stinson | Updated 07 Oct 2016 at 9:14 PM

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton admitted she takes two positions on policy issues.

One in private — ostensibly, the “real” position and one for the public — according to a damaging email leak released on Friday by Wikileaks that included clips of Clinton’s paid speeches to Wall Street banks and other organizations.

"My dream is a hemispheric common market, with open trade and open borders."

Wikileaks released emails reportedly from John Podesta, chairman of the Clinton campaign, on Friday, around 6 p.m.

Podesta received comments made in past Hillary Clinton speeches flagged as potential liabilities.

“You just have to sort of figure out how to — getting back to that word, ‘balance’ — how to balance the public and the private efforts that are necessary to be successful, politically, and that’s not just a comment about today,” Clinton said in a speech for the National Multi-Housing Council on April 23, 2013. “It is unsavory, and it always has been that way, but we usually end up where we need to be. But if everybody’s watching, you know, all of the back room discussions and the deals, you know, then people get a little nervous, to say the least. So, you need both a public and a private position.”

The amazing admission made in a paid speech to an industry group was just one nugget of candor that could hurt Hillary Clinton on Election Day. Many of the leaked transcripts indeed contain red-hot red flags that could anger many in the coalition that Clinton is trying to build.

Supporters of U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, the independent socialist from Vermont, are likely to be turned off by remarks that Clinton wants open borders and open trade.

"My dream is a hemispheric common market, with open trade and open borders, some time in the future with energy that is as green and sustainable as we can get it, powering growth and opportunity for every person in the hemisphere," Clinton told Banco Itau, a Brazilian bank, on May 16, 2013.

For Trump, who has campaigned against illegal immigration and bad trade deals, the remark is a gold mine likely to be brought up at Sunday's town hall debate.

This is some good stuff. Let's just hope there is some even more damning stuff yet to come from Wikileaks.

I don't really care what Donald Trump said 11-12 years ago in a locker room setting. Guys say stupid stuff like that sometimes in testosterone places like locker rooms - that's why it is called locker room talk. . Any woman that is dumb enough to vote for Hillary over it instead of the bigger issues like the global takeover of the country is, in my opinion, self centric and not too bright.

Assange did say releases could be very damaging IF the media sets it a-fire. Trump should play this up. No matter what Trump says or has said in the past, nothing compares to her sleaze talk - this way for highly paid speaks and that way for tricking voters. The woman can not be believed about anything and you can not say that about Trump.

Bottom line, she is for open borders, globalism as the future of USA - amnesty all illegals, increase muslim immigrants by 500% and she really is the reason we have so many foreign IT workers, she brokered that. She is so anti-American, it is not funny. She & obama have & will count on the underhandedness of illegals voting and every American they can con into voting for their agenda.

Trump needs to go after the Union Vote with the remarkable statement Hillary made about her dream being a hemispheric open market and open borders. US workers already know what such a disgusting Globalist Scheme to destroy our country means to them. She says she's against TPP, when like Trump said, she'll sign that piece of crap faster than your head can spin. She also said in a speech that she has a public position versus a private position, this means one thing: LYING TO THE PEOPLE.

These Yale people have been lying to the American People for decades. Bush I, Clinton, Bush II, Obama, H Clinton ... all Yale graduates. It must stop. We need a University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Finance Graduate to fix this Yale disaster.

And that is Donald J Trump.

    FIX THE YALE TREASON DISASTER!!

VOTE FOR DONALD J TRUMP FOR PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!!
